i helped my dad apply for this apartment. other communities were giving us trouble as he was looking to do a corporate lease. with melissas help this was a seamless application and move in process! the apartment was in great condition, no complaints. thank you!

The office staff are very patient and graceful they will work with you when something needs to be fixed. Of course, I understand some things take time especially when maintenance is working so hard in this heat.

This place changed from one of the best to one of the worst apartment complexes since the new management took over it’s business. We had lots of memories here but had to leave because of series of issues were happening. Security and safety. Two cars of our family were broken and hit by cars and when we asked the footage from Lewis office, they said that cameras are off. If you look around the area, you would find lots of trashes and garbages left for several days without anyone from office to clean them. Alcohol bottles and other trashes were everywhere. When we noticed the office about our moving out after facing with lots issues, no body came with us to inspect the home however after we moved out, they checked the apartment and charged us $1500 indicating that we did lots of damages to the apaertment however all of them would be only maximum 250 dollars. The funny thing is that they charged us 50 dollars for leaving one bottle in the cabinets without any consideration just like a machine or robot. When you talk to the office about charges, they ignore what you say and never accept their weakness. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL ???

**This is my first time in my life ever leaving a 1 star review. But this place is just ridiculous.
Just moved in 6/1. EVERYTHING IS BROKEN.
A/C not working, washing machine not working, window screen broken, and the fridge is broken too. You guys are supposed to check everything before a new tenant move in or at least fix everything as soon as possible after I made the request. But NO, I have to call and call for follow up and still got NOTHING done.
Asked the front desk at 9am for fixing the ac and they said they called the emergency the maintenance would come and fix it immediately but I ended up waiting until 4 and followed up twice during the time and always got the same response “he’ll arrive soon.” What’s the point for EMERGENCY then?
He came in and promised to fix the washing machine on Tuesday and I got nothing till Friday. Followed up twice with the front desk , got the promise he’ll come in today and still got NOTHING.
Most importantly, Lots of my food gone bad because of the fridge is broken. The emergency maintenance came and wasn’t able to fix it. So now I HAVE TO WAIT until Monday for the manager to see if they’re ordering a new one and then wait another 2-4 days for the order. Does my food in the fridge wait???
Seriously how am I supposed to live here without my fridge and the A/C ????????? This is absurd.

*Update after moving in a month*
Although the maintenance takes LONG time, they will be done. Once they found stuff under repair they change it immediately. The management team is willing to discuss all problems as long as you bring it to them personally. They definitely need to work for the units before tenants move in as the above, but they are responsible and willing to fix it.

I used to consider Oak Crest Apartments one of the best complexes until 2022. Unfortunately, it has since deteriorated into a low to worse grade establishment, especially in terms of cleanliness, safety, security, and overall rating.
During my stay, two of our cars were broken into right in front of the cameras, but when I requested footage, I was told the cameras were off. This lack of security is unacceptable.
Additionally, upon moving out, I was shocked to be charged around $1500. Despite leaving the apartment in a pristine condition, comparable to the day I moved in, they claimed damages and minor scratches totaling to $1500. This is outrageous, especially considering that when I transferred to another apartment in 2022 in the same complex, a similar situation only cost me $450.
I cannot recommend Oak Crest Apartments to anyone anymore.

I absolutely love my apartment! Ever since I moved in September the leasing staff has been so helpful. It has been a five star experience these last eight months. I look forward to renewing my lease. I would definitely refer others here.

I have been living when this places was owned by Camden Oak Crest entity, last year it was bought by another company and now called Oak Crest At West-chase, managed by Grey Star, since Grey Star took over the management residents start seeing the following;Car getting vandalized, Rims and catalytic converter stolen and windshield busted. Entrance gate, pedestrian gates, mail room gate broken. We get charged for valet trash which usually left behind a couple of time a week. Every now and then homeless people walking and wondering in the property.Amazon mail get stolen. if somebody wants to move into this property, be ready for all this these are the experience that I had under the new management since Camden has sold this property to the new entity be prepared for these and make sure you get the garage for your car if it has nice rims. When you have any of these problems, don’t count on the manager and the staff because they will tell you that they are sorry they can’t help with anything.

I love Camden Oak crest Apartments! I miss living here. I left soo soon but I enjoyed my time here while I did for 6months. It was nice and peaceful. Very spacious
