Terrible experience with a person who claimed he was “one of the managers”. No customer service whatsoever, tried to explain several times on a deposit and literally told me I was annoying him. Showed him the paperwork and even allowed him to listen to the message his own store employee left and he was just rude and condescending. It took him around 20 mins to read a single sheet of paper. In the end I got my deposit back but he did not apologize for his behavior. Northern Tool please do better and if you are going to have people in the front please give them training on Soft skills.

I've shopped at this store several times over the years and have always found a great selection of quality products. I've bought things like a Schumacher jumpstarter, hand truck, hand tools, work tees, and other products. Often store associates asked if I needed help, and the cashier on duty was polite and efficient. They have a good parking lot, are accessible right off the freeway, and have plenty of carts to use. So I'm pleased with the selection and service and plan to keep coming back as needed. ?

Checked store inventory prior to purchase, ordered merchandise online, business account charged, email confirmation of receipt, but after arriving at the store and a few minutes of shopping I was notified that their system was down. No biggie, I'll put the rest of my items back and just pick up my online order. I was made aware that they hadn't received my order. Ok, no problem, I'll go get the items and show you my receipt as well as the transaction in my business account. After doing just that, the managers didn't want to look at my online receipt, email confirmation, and proceeded to reshelve my merchandise. Explaining to me that "this is not how it works". I assumed that driving past two harbour freight stores would at least afford me quality tools, but turned out to be a waste of time and resources. My question is what tool company really supports small businesses?

Zero stars if possible. I bought a generator for my grandma and grandpa during the hurricane berly so they can run a couple of fans so they don’t get sick or over heat but I got the generator to there house and it turned on but the actual generator part was not putting out any power so I put it back in the truck and took it back that the store 45-30 minutes before closing and I ones I got to the front of the line which was the manager I just asked for an swap so I can get back to them as fast at possible and the manager was just saying he can’t for what ever reason he didn’t explain why and once he finally said ok I walk out of the store to get the generator he closed and locked the door behind me and avoid my grandpa that was still in the store and just said come back tomorrow and this happened July 14 2024 at 4:15-4:45 now I am forced to get my grandparents a hotel or something else to sleep for the night

I orded a 212 ironton engine online and when I went to pick it up the manager Stephen said I required a photo ID and as I am not 18 yet I didn't have one and then I showed him emails from northen tool saying my order is ready to be picked up he said he's not giving it to me without a id and I started to tear up and he told me to grow up and when I came back after getting school records showing a picture of me and my name he said in a sarcastic tone "oh i will make sure to handle this paper with care" then proceeds to ask me if I want him to kiss the paper before he hands it back I will never be shopping here after being treated like a theft because of a package with my name on it

I called today to see if there was warranty on an item I had purchased back in December, I was placed on hold immediately practically after I explained what had happened, than a gentleman answered again, I explained again what had happened, he said they may not be able to see if it has warranty right now because everyone is purchasing generators so maybe not till Monday, than he changed it and said that he would transfer me to the cashiers to see if it has any warranty, I was this on hold again, than a lady answered and I related that I needed to see if an item I purchased had warranty, she placed me on hold, than when she came back and asked me what was the phone number I have to her, she confirmed there was no warranty, didn’t let me finish talking to her and hung up…

I came to the store around 6pm.On a Tuesday.I needed to speak with one of the sales people because I had recently purchased a hydraulic Jack for my Trailer that after I bought it l,it only lasted a couple of months.it came loose and fell of my trailer.I needed to speak to one of the sales people to see if I could replaced it with another one.There was only one cashier and one employee that after standing waiting for help couldn't help.I left very upset.It seems to me that at the store they don't care about selling or helping customers.
