Cashier has terrible customer service the guy took forever to charge us and he was very unpolite the cashiers are terrible they're very unpolite they take forever to attend us and they feel like they're a favor to the people the whole place is terrible.

Imagine the look on the cashier's face when she saw me carrying two moving-size bags full of shoe boxes. Despite that, she was friendly, courteous and didn't flinch and processed 7 returns. 45 minutes later, it was the same cashier that processed the purchase of 11 candles from the Home & Decor department. Also didn't flinch and was equally friendly and welcoming.

Just because it has the name Nordstrom doesn't mean it is quality. The clothing seems cheap even though there are brand names on the labels.

Returned a jacket today that did not fit. The older lady with half black/half white cute hair helping me never looked at me, made any eye contact or said a word to me the whole transaction. I just stood there smiling. I’d like to thank the cashier next to her that obviously noticed and said Have a nice Day to me. After the return, I purchased two pair of shoes and of course I end up with the same lady who was a bit better this time but made for an unpleasant experience all around. She definitely needs a refresher course on customer service. Other staff I encountered were very nice.

I love Nordstrom Rack it’s my favorite store to go even before Nordstrom. For that reason, I would have definitely given a five I usually do on my every visit this time, the cashier helping me, was extremely unprofessional and rude to me. He is a tall, African-American guy, was not wearing a badge, and I saw every other cashier was wearing one. According to my receipt his name is Xavier. To describe his behavior, when I was in the line, he did not say “next guest” like every other cashier was doing or used the Nordstrom Rack flag to waive. Good for him I was just waiting to see which cashier would be open next, and he happened to glance at me and just waved at me. When I got to the register, he was doing something with the return I guess. He did not meet me at all. Did not even say “hello or how are you doing?”. Again, the other cashiers were doing that to all other customers I observed while while I was waiting to be checked out. Just so you know, I spent $500 at your store today. At the end of the transaction, he just placed the bag on the counter, and simply slid it towards me. And his exact words while doing that was “all right”. Again, like every other cashier, he did not say “thank you and have a great day or thank you for shopping”. Nothing at all. What really prompt me to give this review was because he literally greeted the next customer. I was still moving when he called upon the next guest to the register and literally said “hi ma’am how are you doing today?” Another reason I gave you this review is because I’ve encountered similar stuff with this particular guy before and I have put in a review. No one did ever call me and I guess never was he comprehend because he continues to have this behavior. I do have the capacity to shop at Nordstrom itself and I’m happy to take my business. Nordstrom Rack wants to continue having racist cashiers. I say racist because every customer present there at my checkout time was Caucasian and I was the only female with an Asian/Indian race who happened to spend $550 to be precise in one transaction at your store, so I think I deserve the same courtesy as other customers who happen to be other major ethnicities who might not as well be spending as much as I spent today at your store.
