Normally I try to buy most of my high end fragrances from here. Never had a problem until today. I recently purchased a fragrance from a Neimans out of town. I never opened the fragrance until 1 day after my return home. I tried to return the fragrance in its original packaging except the plastic had been opened but the plastic was still on the box. The fragrance had not been worn or anything. They refused to return or exchange although online it says “return within 30 days with original tags and packaging (if applicable).” I even offered an exchange instead of full refund but the manager still refused. They never looked up my information or anything. What’s the difference if you purchased as a gift and the person didn’t like it and wanted to return? You would think with a purchase history from this department they would offer to help or do something considering the amount paid for the fragrance to not be used. I would be careful purchasing fragrances and beauty products from this retailer as they do not accept returns.

We were helped by Charlie H. in helping us buy fragrances. He was the friendliest person ever and very knowledgeable. I will definitely go back to buy more fragrances from him.

You may get priced match, but they wont give you the $ back. Not to mention not being able to cancel an order i did not agree to have shipped it is ludicrous. specially since it has not been packaged or shipped and it was supposed to be ready for pick up the same day. The “excuse” “receipt has been printed” so they cant cancel my order now i have to wait until they get the item in their store for any process to start, effectively withholding my funds for days, thanks.

I was assisted by Charlie in the fragrance section. He was very knowledgeable and super friendly! I got plenty of samples with my purchase and I highly recommend asking for Charlie if you go to Neiman Marcus looking for a new perfume!

Teach your employees to acknowledge everyone! Not just people who look a certain way! Update: A manager called and left a voicemail. I called RIGHT BACK and asked them to call me back but they never did.

Where do I start, they have the best sales staff I have encountered across the retail industry. Janie is amazing!!! She is always coming up with great ideas and finding the perfect gift for the occasion. She is so authentic and reliable.

The employees were very helpful, I do not shop at Neiman's much but I am building my luxury wardrobe and they had a pair of shoes that I really wanted. I ordered online and due to my work schedule and the price of the shoes I chose store pick up. The process was seamless and I was in and out in under 15 minutes, I was assisted by three different employees who were all very helpful and friendly.

The first and last time to visit this place. When you buy they smile in your face and they show their bad behavior when you want to return an return. The refuse to return my item even though I had the receipt and the item was sealed not even opened! The customer service manager offered to exchange the item for something els but the same day. I ask if I could get a store credit cause I wanted to take my time but she refused. So I cannot understand what is the difference!! Also when I contacted the online customer service they said you can return it if the sticker is still on and it was totally sealed even the customer service manager saw that it was sealed. Bad experience. I’m very disappointed with their customer service.

Wonderfully pleasant experience shopping here! Sue in the fragrance department was so helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. I told her two vague descriptive words about the type of scents I like and she immediately found me the perfect fragrance. She was so kind and lovely and never made me feel rushed or pressured. I can’t wait to shop here again.

I've been coming here since i was a fetus and i can tell you this neimans has the best customer service of all time!! Especially Mike, a man who helped me find my lost phone like it was his own. Don't make a mistake and go to another store. But from this neimans today!!!

Absolutely upset with my experience last night I came in at approximately 7:42 to look at perfume and lipstick for my partner for a surprise gift and absolutely no one came to help me I looked for about 15 minutes completely lost I had a picture of the color palette of the lipstick I wanted just wanted a higher quality and I wanted to explore scents for the perfume I particularly heard 3 women say not him over there when I was in earshot I deal with heavy anxiety when picking out these things and particular because I want to make a good decision I felt dejected. Shout to the team in the women’s department upstairs that greeted me and made me feel welcome but the overall experience was terrible

I have been coming to this NM for years now and have been reluctant to come back every time. Almost every time I come in, the employees at Chanel almost never fail to disappoint. They always ignore me, never greet me, and have me wait, at minimum, about 10 minutes. The last handful of times I went, I had to walk over to Dior or any other Kiosk to get help and those staff members are always happy to help.The last time I went i had asked an employee for help since I noticed all the employees were on theirs phones. She told me she was busy and I patiently waited. After 10 minutes I went and got help at Dior and when the Chanel ladies noticed that I was getting several items, they finally walked over and said they could help now.Today when I went in, I was ignored again but I still waited. Another woman came up after me and she was helped immediately even though I was there before her.Once I was approached, the lady that helped me was very monotone and seemed annoyed. However, she was super chirpy with the client before me. When it came time to checkout, I saw her hold up the Chanel bag, put it back in the drawer, and then hand me the NM bag. The two customers before me were given Chanel shopping bags for their products, but I wasn’t. I have always received the Chanel shopping bag and getting the bag isn’t the problem, the problem is why did she change her mind to give me the NM when she gave the other two customers a Chanel bag.This is my first review I’ve ever written and I’ve always been very kind and patient with sales because I know it can get very overwhelming at times. But when I go to Chanel, these employees don’t even treat me as an equal to them. As if I’m wasting their time. I’m sure NM is a great store; however, if you don’t want to get treated like a low tiered human, I suggest staying away from NM Chanel.
