My daughter had been going to Gwen for several years, she moved to this location a year or so ago. I usually text her a few days prior to see if she can set an appointment for my daughter. She said yes, the day of, she changed it from 1:30 to 2:00. Okay. When we get there, she told my daughter to wait. I am glad I decided to walk her up as I usually drive off. She then came out saying she had a client whose hair she had to “fix” and that we could leave and come back. Really??? I said we’d wait, she said it would be 20 minutes. We sat for 30 minutes, meanwhile, her niece walks up, rings the button and she lets her in. The lady (her niece) walks back out as if she was leaving. There is another entrance which we usually use so, she (Gwen) was not counting on us entering that way. I told my daughter let’s go. This isn’t this woman’s first time handling us unprofessionally. I have paid her regardless of if it was on the spot or a few days later, but from now on, it will be strictly business with people or I’ll do my child’s hair myself. The lies is what I can’t deal with. She did better just canceling. It’s well, there are better, more professional stylist in Htown. Good riddance. God sees and He knows.

Jennifer was great! Located in suite #510. My first visit to a "My Salon Suites" & to Jennifer. A current (×3yrs) customer referred me to her.Haircut: $30. Credit card. I visited MY SALON Suite at West University and what a treat it was! I booked a facial and spray tan to get me ready for my upcoming vacation and am delighted with my results! If you are in the neighborhood, do yourself a favor and check them out!

Bri @jadedbettyhair was wonderful!! Her attention to detail was great! Usually while I got my hair bleached before this they put the foils and leave me under the dryer which would cause damage would lead to split ends and breakage. But she was different, never used the dryer was constantly checking my hair and removed the foils before there was any damage. Excellent care!! Felt very pampered and beautiful once she was done!! 100% she is my permanent stylist for now on!!

My sons-in-law evacuated 2 times from Lake Charles. She really needed her hair done. Sabrina of Brow & More did her hair and gave her a facial. She really enjoyed.

Reviewing Ms. Gwen who is just staring to work from this location and was formerly at Assured image and E’s salon. She has been doing my hair for the last 10 years and I’ve followed her everywhere she’s gone. She restored my hair after years of relaxers gone wrong when I was young. Since restoring my hair she has kept it healthy with check ins twice a year. This time we decided to do ash brown highlights on my dark hair and they came out fabulous!She must have magic hands because I’ve cried in just about every other stylist’s seat (yes I’m that girl)
