I was visiting Houston, and since I was not familiar with certain areas where we needed to be careful using a debit card at the gas station. My card was abused, and I l was going to be there one more week, so I googled the Bank of America branch and went there for help during these frustrated moments. BOA send me a digital copy, but I want to ensure how to use it at the ATM for the rest of the week. I was very upset and sad about the situation because never happened before to me. I walked in and, at the counter entrance, tried to listen to my half story and took me to Ms Perla. Ms. Perla was not happy to see a worried, upset 35 years loyal customer with Bank of America, and without any smile or welcome, she said a few things like hello, dumb customer, what did you do? She was totally disturbed by my walk-in, and during the conversation, she started working with another customer's ID given by the front area person who knew she was with the customer. She told me to let us go outside (112 degrees) ATM, and she could help me with a digital card. Now I am in the lobby area, and guess what? She went to another customer (she was very nice to him) and started helping him. I said excuse me, and I am waiting here, she turned back to one colleague and spoke loudly so everyone could hear, "Can someone help her." she took another customer to her room with a smile. Now I don't live in Houston, but I was totally shocked by her arrogance and attitude on this branch. Here I was, the one who was upset and worried about card abuse. The other guy came to try to apologize on her behalf, but there was no excuse for how she treated me. No wonder this branch has a few bad reviews. So avoid it if you can, but again I saw her being friendly with another name customer.

Decent! But the drive thru atm doesn't work like they don't accept Apple payment so I had to go to the walk in atm.. they need to fix it.

I have had trouble with other locations but the San Felipe location has been WONDERFUL!! They make me actually like BOA again. Brendon and Xavier are courteous and patent tellers and make banking a pleasure at this location. The managers are always in the lobby willing to help as well.

Stopped by this morning hoping to open a standard personal checking account. Wasn't greeted. Once a teller(Annette)eventually saw me immediately apologized and directed me too another teller(Erica). She then proceeded to ask me for identification, which I provided (Id), then was asked for secondary identification(debit card) which I had left in vehicle. Was told from Erica I didn't need but I insisted, to speed things up. After I presented secondary id I was then asked, do you have your social security number? I then replied yes. Expecting to proceed she then argued, she wants to physically see my social security, was even asked if I had a picture, which I then showed. I then asked to mutually see monitor where my vital info was being stored, she then denied me, and rudely demanded to see my social security number vividly. I then asked am I not able to enter my social security number on my end, and was immediately denied(never had this issue w any other financial institute). I then asked for further assistance, which was(Annette) supposedly manager who had no SOLUTION. Made me very uncomfortable. (Erica),(Annette) planned on comprising my vital information honestly. Who store's customers vital information, and when asked to mutually review info and follow along on monitor, excessively denied. I just wanted to establish a good relationship with BOA. I feel violated as a customer. This isn't regular protocol. I have footage as well. Even asked to see terms and conditions and requirements to open account, was then denied and told they don't have to show customers. Which is odd.

No matter what day or week. Service is always really slow. Even on a Friday rush they often only have 1 teller who has been there for over three years yet stIll lols confused about doing his job. Avoid this location go the extra block and visit the location on Westheimer

They have one teller on duty only. Seriously, it is the day after a holiday and businesses are trying to make deposits. Took 45 minutes to do a simple deposit. Person at check in desk couldn't check people in who needed help because doesn't have log on so what is the point of her standing there to check people in. Sitting area full of people waiting to be checked in for appointments. The nicest person here is the security guard.

I'm unclear as to why this place has less than amazing reviews. I've been going to this bank for at least 5 years, and they have been nothing but helpful. Each time I've gone with either a question, deposit, concern, or currency exchange (when traveling), I find them honest and helpful. Plus, I like the new look of the lobby! There was a time when it was a bit dated, but it's much better now. I do, however, always check on Google Maps how "busy" it is during the time window in which I need to visit and adjust my expectations accordingly. The security guards both inside and outside the building make me feel protected as well - - I'm definitely NOT concerned about anyone breaking into my car when I'm parked here. Peace of mind is always nice.

Slowest service ever. If you love hassle and stress, sign up here. I have never had worse experiences back to back to back ! This is why I hardly visit this bank compared to my other accounts. It's hard to get fast service and quality service. I have tried 3 times and they have failed 3 times ! I called for them to have a check ready for me for my arrival, they said just come in it will take 1 minute, I came in stood in a 13 people wait line, where it's like people have never been to a bank before and can't find their ID, then once I get to the front of the line 25 minutes later...they can't help me and show me towards the offices that can...why did I have to wait for that long if they couldn't even help me !!!!! I was furious ! You have a designated area, in the front to great people and find out why they are there so they can be in and out, and there is never anyone manning it. Get it together until then I will not be back, I'll take my checks to Chase and Wells Fargo !

Noticed that this bank just opened and is right across the street from my house! Came in to deposit a cash a check. While CHRISTIE didn't acknowledge me because she was too busy playing on her phone. Instead I had to just walk up to her station. Which I was not greeted but given attitude. She then continued to slowly take her time taping my ripped check up. No thanks! I'll drive the extra mile to go to the BOA on Richmond and Weslayan! The most helpful and friendliest staff over there!! Not surprised that the ratings are so low on a new bank!

I went to this branch near work to deposit a check. The ATM was not accepting checks so I had to schlep it inside & do banking the old fashioned way. I swear I haven't been into a bank in years. This branch is clean & set up nicely. There's someone out in the lobby to help if needed & the cash windows (or whatever they are called) are located behind a wall. Behind that are the tellers behind a very secure glass partition. They only had one person working so it was a bit of a wait. Finally, someone else opened her drawer & I walked up asking for a deposit only & that the ATM out front was not taking checks. This elicited a mild scolding from the teller advising me that there were 2 more ATMs in the drive through but.....she was happy to help me! Seriously? I then told here I arrived on foot, I did not have a car so using the drive through was moot, unless they wanted to open up to a huge liability with a pedestrian in the drive through. I don't think she understood me because she repeated what she initially said. I kept my trap shut, gave her the deposit & once the transaction was complete, hurried out the door. This was a good reminder that dealing with an ATM was much preferable to a face to face transaction.

Just 1 time I would love to go to this location and find an ATM that works the first try. Drive up ATM typically does not work.

The bank manager here was so friendly and she helped me understand what I was looking for. Other locations just treat you like a number and dont give you the service you are looking for.

This has to be the slowest bank in America. Both the inside and drive thru are excruciatingly slow- I have waited as long as 30 minutes with only 1 person in front of me. So many bank staff walking around but no one ever seems to notice how long we are standing there. I use this bank only because my company has their accounts there- I would never use for personal banking.

This 5 star review is SOLEY on the EXCELLENT & EXCEPTIONAL customer service given by Vice President Eric Galvan! Today my husband and I are parting ways with BOA but this was seemless break up. And although I walked in very upset about the issues I had with my account, Mr. Galvan listened to my concerns and acted immediately as my advocate with the claims department. However, this call was to no avail so we closed our account. Even though we are parting ways(BOA & I) I left in better spirits than I came in with thanks to Mr. Galvan, so much so that I was inclined to leave this review for his outstanding customer service. As for Bank of America, I can no longer trust them with my money and will be going to another bank.
