Room was nice but several issues with this hotel. Unless you valet ($40!!) parking is on third floor common area (always packed) so expect a long trek to the car. Even with valet, no bellman and no carts were available. After checkin, wrong password given. Tried calling from the room but didn’t get an answer until after several tries. As a bonus, no comp water (small bottle is $8!!) and morning breakfast selection was underwhelming. Considering the high price, a bad experience that could have been a good one if the owner wasn’t such a tightwad.

This place is one of the better hotels we've stayed at over the years. Spacious rooms, that shower is like a pressure washer from heaven! Great staff, excellent breakfast and coffee. Parking is convenient in the garage. Park on the third floor and walk across the skyway to the lobby. Location! Location! Location! City Centre is amazing is simply amazing. If and when I have to come back to my company's headquarters, I'm staying here.
Rooms: Spacious, clean, comfortable ... and that shower! A pressure washing massage fest from Heaven!
Nearby activities: Dining, sports bars, walking, shopping, exploring
Safety: Good area. No crime that I saw. We felt very comfortable here.
Walkability: Minutes to fantastic food and shopping. Literally right outside the door.
Food & drinks: Great free breakfast!

I had an outstanding experience at The Moran CITYCENTRE. My experience started days before my arrival when I was in desperate need of an indoor facility to take bridal photos with my wife and our bridal party. I was nervous because time was running out and we have been shot down by other facilities. However, the staff at The Moran CITYCENTRE, specifically Mr. Sergio and Mr. Juan, were really responsive and helpful. Mr. Sergio helped coordinate times for us to arrive and assisted us throughout the booking process. And, Mr. Juan was very welcoming while discussing the necessary paperwork. In addition to the staff, the facilities were well kept and really made us feel like we were in a luxurious establishment. I definitely recommend The Moran CITYCENTRE if you are looking for a place to to stay or if you need to take some indoor photos.
Rooms: Very clean facility and pleasant to look at.

My family stayed at the Moran during the power outage after Tornado. Sergio and manger Juan helped us a lot. Service was great and loacatiom is the bliss.
It is great place! I highly recoomemd who wants to visit City Centre.

Worst customer service of any hotel period. I’ve called and emailed over 10 times to get a copy of my receipt and have only received empty promises. How hard is it to get a receipt? It should literally be provided at checkout. And if a customer wants a copy, it should not take hours and hours of effort.
Also the hotel is under construction so most of the amenities aren’t available and it’s very inconvenient. Of course that isn’t advertised when booking.

Please be advised that my review goes solely on the interaction with staff at the front desk and mr Jamal Mezhar. Let me start by saying the prejudice and overall professionalism of the staff and Mr. Jamal was the worst I've ever encountered in this business. (I am a travel agent.) First off the fact that the moment I mentioned that I was with FEMA everyone's nose turned up at me I tried to contact Mr Jamal several times with not even a call back and the staff would never transfer me to his extension and kept covering for him see you have to go through him to get a hotel there with FEMA which I reported them to as well I was treated like the problem when they did not even know who I am needless to say as beautiful as it may be their attitudes stunk and so did their services no manners or respect.

If possible I would have given a zero for the service. Am staying at the hotel and it takes a herculean task for the front desk to pick up. The morning breakfast is worse than a free meal - super crowded and food is really substandard. They dont have room service for all day and supposed to open at 5 pm but nobody picks the phone! Really unimpressed. The cleaning staff are great though...

We had a wonderful stay! Ryan (front desk) was very nice and friendly! I wish the bathroom was more updated. Besides that, it was great! Would definitely return!
Walkability: We didn’t have to drive the entire weekend. Everything was accessible to us!

I stayed here 2 weeks ago for my wedding, and I couldn't be happier with my stay. From the room block setup to checkout, I would highly recommend anybody to stay here. Celeste took care of us through the entire process and made this one of our favorite hotel stays ever. The breakfast selection is amazing, access to Lifetime fitness is a great added amenity, and the location in the center of CityCentre is impossible to beat. Stop searching and book here.

What an amazing stay. The company events we had here was hosted by amazing staff, well mannered, they made great food, and they made sure we were supplied the entire time. I have zero negatives to say about the stay. The Moran is setting the bar really high for hotels.
As for the room, I really missed having daily service and this isn't sacrificed here. Each day of your stay the room is cleaned. They have a variety of food and beverage options in the room as well. The ultimate convenience factor is right in your room. I'll definitely visit the Moran again if the opportunity arises to go back to Houston.

Our daughter and son in law had their wedding reception at the Moran last weekend. The hotel staff did a great job! The food was excellent and Diana did everything she could to make sure our experience was a positive one—including allowing us to keep our flowers in the hotel cooler overnight. The events team was very accommodating. We appreciate all they did and would definitely recommend this venue for an event!
