I have visited this location for over 2 years since 2020. Today I was treated so poorly it hurt! I had to call 3 times to still not been helped and wasn't able to refill my prescription. The pharmacy manager Helena suggested I go to Walgreens. She said my Medicaid plan was no longer contracted HOWEVER did not offer me options. I have secondary insurance and am able to pay for my meds. I need to take a pill everyday. These workers are rude, disrespectful and rush. It seems they are not interested in helping us stay healthy. Shame.

This review is for the pharmacy, not the store in general. They are very good at getting my medicine refilled. Almost always it's ready to go and they usually have an automated system calling my phone to let me know this is the situation. Everyone behind the counter is helpful and eager to get the transaction handled accurately and quickly. I never use the drive through lane because I prefer to go into the store and browse around if I need to wait. That said, with Covid and all that entails, people should be ready to wait more than usual. Patience is.. a virtue, they say. Let's all be kind to workers who are doing what I think is the best they can.

I have never in my life been treated so horribly by a pharmacy staff person than I was yesterday. I moved so was calling to transfer my prescriptions and the woman who answered the phone in the pharmacy was beyond rude. I asked when my refill of a vitamin would be coming in because I didn't have much left- she preceded to do math over the phone like I was an elementary student, instead of someone with multiple degrees. I cannot believe her! Because of this (I've been a customer of CVS for decades) I'm transferring all of them to Walgreens. I read the reviews before I went but decided to give it a try. Nope, bad reviews are right... Avoid this pharmacy!!!!!

Literally the worst CVS I've ever dealt with. 4 days holding 20 mins plus to try and get a prescription refilled. When finally get through, they confirm it'll be ready in an hour. Two hours later (because let's be real, one hour wasnt going to happen) prescription is still not ready. "Another 30 mins" says pharmacist, with no apology and walking away from me. Avoid at all costs. Truly not worth the hassle, drive anywhere else.

The drive through sucks One lane is strictly for COVID Testing which is not busy at all. Meanwhile others are left waiting to get their RX. SMH. The ONLY reason I come here is because they are the closest one that takes my insurance. Avoid if possible

Stay away from the CVS at 9455 Hammerly Blvd, Houston Tx. The Pharmacy Manager (Helena) tried to sell me the wrong prescription, and she also told me she would not give me a refund if it was the wrong prescription. After she made me drive all the way home to, get my previous prescription to prove it was the wrong one. Any Medical Professional that gives improper prescription KNOWINGLY, should be prosecuted or at least have their license revoked. But, I appeased her, she still refused to verify that the prescription was wrong, and she stated, "well maybe because its older, they may not make it anymore." the prescription mysteriously appeared, but instead of apologizing, she went in the back, filled prescriptions for two other customers, then finally filled mine. The straw that broke the camel's back though was when I asked the girl at the register, "can you confirm that my insurance information is up to date please?" gave her my card, and Helena, said, "what does he want now?" the cashier told her, and Helena told her not to check because "the brand the doctor ordered for me is outdated and not covered, charge him full price." So, the cashier, never checked, charged me full price and went on her way. The incident was escalated to the "Houston Regional Leader," a man named "Akash Patel." Spoke with him one time about the incident, he promised he would follow up with me by today Thursday (Dec 24, 2020), and I have yet to hear back from him. The several times I tried calling back, the calls went straight to VM, and I tried texting, and he blocked me. I escalated it again to Akosh Patel's boss and will be filing a complaint with the Texas board or Pharmacists. Do not give these people your business at all. They don't care about you, they are not putting patients first, like they should. Please spread the word. I will be posting this message on EVERY review site, including google and yelp, and other major ones. Let the people speak without words by avoiding CVS at all costs!!!!!!!!!

So this cvs is supposed to open at 7am but here i am at 7:15am standing outside and the doors are locked. For some This may be okay but for me, who has to be at work at 8am THIS IS NOT. If you open at 7am have workers that come on time to open the store at 7am. This is trash all the way around. I don't recommend at ALL

I purchased 5 Christmas Cards and gift cards for co workers at this location. I passed out my presents two day ago. I received a horrifying call from one of them. She stated the card was declined. Luckily i kept my receipt. I was able to verify the card in my co workers hand was not a card i activated. The young Hispanic girl switched out my gift card with non activated cards. She stole $100 from me!!! I am beyond pissed!!!!

Not to be confused with CBS (news), CDS (music), COS (play), and POS (me), this is an overpriced chain pharmacy. This Pharmacy in Houston is way overpriced but conveniently located close to a lot of the things that we always go to up on I-10 the Katy Freeway. I got a hair brush here and we've gotten a few other things here.
