The removal of personnel that clean the interior drops the score from a 10 down to an 8 - I used the service once a month or so with my unlimited wash and miss them.\I do use the wash several times a month and am oveall pleased with the Mister Carwash on Memorial

Awful experience, watered down brand, don’t give this place your business.
I used to come here all the time but today I showed up and the layout was different. Apparently they switched this from a full service location to a “self-serve” one. What that means is that you pay the same price as before ($14-35) for an automated car wash and if you want anything else you can vacuum your car yourself. So…it’s just an average car wash.
The value of Mister Car Wash used to be that they did a great job, used the automated equipment, and then had a person or two make sure everything was vacuumed, shined, etc, so that spots weren’t missed. Now you’re paying the same price without any differentiators. Really puzzling business decision. Feels like a super stupid private equity play. It’s no better than a $5-10 add-on car wash at an Exxon or HEB gas station.
My car was pretty dirty with bird poop and the car wash didn’t get the majority of it off. Thanks for the $25 I guess.
The most mind-boggling part is that the automated machine asked me if I wanted to leave a tip! For what?! No one was working
there.

Car wash does what I need it to do. However, can I get a car wash with out being hassled into a membership or up selling a car wash. It ridiculous and makes me dread coming here. Only reason I do at this point is the fact it's a block from my house. Why have self pay kiosk to get the wash when the employees are going to stand over you and ask if you'd like to tip. Do better.

A bit odd but on 03/24/24 I was told the car wash was closed at 4:30pm and told to turn back around by a young lady working. I passed by at 6pm and I saw employees still at the car wash and they were running their own vehicles through the car wash from what it looked liked. A bit skeptical on what’s going on here now because google said their closing time is at 6pm. Hmmmmm
They even had cones blocking off the entrance for the car wash. I wish I would’ve questioned her. It’s not a big deal but it’s not okay.
