I have lived at Milwee Street for over two years and love it! Sonia and Liz in the office are terrific and very responsive. Maintenance requests are addressed immediately and the location can't be beat.

Living Here has been really peaceful the only reason it’s not 5 stars is because there is dime sized roaches here and there and I HATE roaches ?. The walls are also thin you can sometimes hear other peoples music but other then that the staff is super friendly and helpful.

****PAY ATTENTION TO THE BAD REVIEWS******* I have been waiting a very long time to leave a review here and wanted to wait until I was completely moved out to do so. I have lived here from August 2021-August 2023, so a total of 2 HORRIBLE YEARS. In addition, I wanted start off by saying LOOK AT THE PROFILES OF THE PEOPLE WHO LEAVE GOOD REVIEWS. All of these people leaving "good reviews" are also leaving good reviews for other apartment complexes owned by Dakota Property Management. Which is hilarious because this management company can't keep up with the horrible reviews left by tenants. Nonetheless, let me begin my review. PARKING/TOWING: Out of the 2 years of living here at these apartments, my car has been towed SIX TIMES. Each time costing me $280. My car has been towed for parking head out, having an expired parking sticker, & for accidentally parking in a reserved space. And yes I realize that this is my mistake but my point is that this complex has absolutely 0 mercy when it comes to your car. I have called and left a suggestion asking them to leave warnings for first time offenders instead of straight up towing your car, and they said thank you, and ignored my suggestion. ALSO, this complex WORKS WITH THE TOWING COMPANY. If you pay attention you can see the workers (leasing consultants, Maintenance men, and managers) pointing the tow truck to cars that need to be towed. I have seen them do this multiple times. Not to mention, your car will most likely get broken into while living here. My car was broken into and the thieves had nothing to take except 2 hot white claws from my backseat. SAFETY: Beware if you are a woman. Once I had a friend come over to my apartment and she left late at night and was approached my a man who was in the apartment complex and was almost grabbed by him. The only thing that stopped him were his friends telling him to stop. Another instance that happened was OBNOXIOUS knocking on my door late at night by someone who I didn't know. I was so scared I just stayed in my apartment and waiting for this person to go away. When I told the leasing office about this they told me they had no cameras in the hallways and couldn't see who it was. THEY CHARGE YOU $1500 FOR A 1 BEDROOM, THE LEAST YOU CAN DO IS INVEST IN CAMERAS FOR THE SAFETY OF THE TENANTS. CLEANLINESS: Another thing I wanted to mention was that this apartment complex is absolutely disgusting. There was an instance where someone threw out furniture from their balcony which included a full sized mattress and a bed frame, along with clothes. This was visible to everyone who went through the exit gate, and this stayed there for A WEEK. I HAVE ATTACHED A TIME STAMPED PHOTO. Also not to mention people letting their dogs pee and poop all throughout the hallways where you walk :) THE POOL: The pool here is so nice and sadly you can't enjoy it! It's like residents here invite their entire family which take up ALL VISITOR PARKING AND THE POOL. Kiss the pool goodbye because you can't enjoy it when it's packed with people who blast their music so loud you can hear it from inside your apartment. Also it's hard to enjoy your pool when there's nothing but children running around unsupervised. ELEVATORS: The elevators here NEVER work. And when they don't work, it takes Dakota Property Management 2 weeks to fix them :). Which is incredibly unfortunate when you have your handicapped grandma visiting who can't access stairs, or when you have to carry your groceries up and down multiple flights of stairs. MANAGEMENT: I have always remained very cordial with management but when it comes to charging people an outrageous amount of $ for stupid "policies", I will speak up. If you leave your trash out in the bag they charge you $50 for not leaving it in the trash can. Which is outrageous because valet trash is $7 a month here-- so $50 is ridiculous. Also the leasing consultants here suck at conflict elimination- instead they will pass you to the condescending managers who respond

Couldn’t be happier with the entire process! Liz helped make things seamless and got me moved in with ease. Unit is fantastic, community seems well taken care of and safe. As a new Houston resident I feel happy to call Milwee Street home!

Amazing service at the office. Staff is super helpful and ready to take care of any of my needs! Maintenance team always ready to take care of any of my repairs. Highly recommend the Apts. Love their get together and events they do with their staff and residents. It’s a unique experience to live here. I love it because I feel like fam!

Today’s experience through out my tour was very pleasent, Liz was so sweet and helpful! She made me feel comfortable and helped me with the application and made it so much easier. I cant wait to move in!
