I had a vet appointment this morning at this vet and it over exceeded my expectations. I never went to a vet before and didn’t know what really to expect. It’s my first time being a cat owner by myself I normally had dogs/cats with my mom and sisters so this is very new to me. I felt like everyone was so sweet and kind and it significantly helped that my cat is the chillest cat ever where he doesn’t mind strangers and being picked up. They gave him a treat which is great he deserves so much for being a good cat. They did an exam on him and explained everything through detail and I can see why the doctor has such great reviews. Everyone was easy to talk to. The vet bill was also lower than I expected I was thinking it would be higher due to being in Midtown but it was reasonably priced. I was a happy client leaving. :)

I think it’s very hard to find businesses that care about your needs these days. Thankfully this place is the opposite. Every single staff member is incredibly kind, professional, and cares deeply for your 4-legged friend. Dr. Clive is extremely knowledgeable and gentle with my pup whenever he sees her. He walks you through any issues he discovers with patience and kindness and really helps you feel at ease that he has your pets best interest at heart. Honestly would rate this place 10⭐️ if I could.

Dr. Clive and the entire team at Midtown Veterinary Hospital are so attentive. They answer all my questions and provide advice on preventative care. I know my dog is in great hands every time I visit for annual check-ups or have concerns that may arise.

I've been coming here for a few years now.
The employees and vet techs are always pleasant and they always dote on my dog.
The office is always clean and sanitary.
The vet and vet techs don't push you on treatments your pet doesn't need.
This vet office is certified by the pertinent regulatory body / trade group - an optional exercise they endured to assure you of your pet's safety.
Most importantly to me - You can really tell the veterinarian cares about the animal's wellbeing and makes it their first priority.
Parking seems sketchy at a glance but I have never had any issues parking in front of the building. This IS in midtown on Alabama street so you can't really complain too much. If you're worried just talk to the employees they'll make sure you don't get towed.
I was a tad concerned at first that the word "Hospital" would come with an outlandish price tag. It does not. I highly recommend this veterinarian office.

Dr. Clive and his staff are always very caring and proactive with our dog Jun Jun. They get back to me promptly whenever I have questions and manage to squeeze us in whenever Jun Jun has a pressing issue. I am sold on Midtown Veterinary Hospital and recommend them to any of my friends who are looking for a vet in Houston.

I have known Dr. Clive for over 30 years (we went to vet school together), but now that I am retired, I want my pets to have the benefit of an experienced and knowledgeable veterinarian. My dog Scarlett and I had a friendly and welcoming visit recently. Everyone at Midtown helped to create a stress-free visit, and I am happy to be able to take my pets where they will receive excellent care.
