DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT MICROCENTER FOR TECH!If you're going to buy online, sure, amazon and some others are not a bad idea, but Microcenter beats amazon most of the time, and that's not even including service and reliability.

I brought my friend here on Saturday to build his first PC. We met Ty who helped us the whole way through getting us even better components and better deals than what we had originally spec'd out. He answered all of our questions to the best of his ability and gut us in and out in record time with absolutely everything we needed. Thank you Ty for all your help!!!

Bait and switch.Looking for a laptop, I saw several on the website that looked good, but wanted to check out in person. Went to the store, and the first one I liked was not in stock, but they could sell me a different one I did not want. Repeated two more times.When I got home, I checked the site again and it claims that there are 3 of my first choice in stock in Houston.I used to love Microcenter because they were well stocked and had salespeople who know when to get out of the way.They they have display models that don't actually exist, incorrect inventory, and pushy up selling salespeople.Now it seems like they are turning into Best Buy.

I've never been to one and have always wanted to go and check it out for myself. Not only was it the best deals on equipment and PC parts AND other necessities you didn't even THINK of before walking in! But the customer service was phenomenal. I can only hope they are commission based as well as hourly for the attention to detail they give. Truly your go to source in terms of making sure you are not only getting the biggest BANG for your buck, but they also understand they can simply shake a hand and make a friend as well. Great staff. Amazing store. My girl didn't let me buy anything. She's the only thing getting a bad review

Best computer retail store in Houston, Texas that has a phenomenal tech support department! Every technical question was answered and every software and hardware upgrade that we needed was implemented! Don't waste your time going to other computer vendors!

Lots of laptop choices. However, the sales people are on commission so they are eager to help you. ALL other employees seem annoyed when you ask for directions and they pretend they don’t hear you when you say, “excuse me”….. Just an inferior shopping experience. I feel like I’m at a flea market in India….

To begin, I want to express how highly angry, disappointed, and excessively stressed out about our experiences at your Micro Center at 5305 S. Rice Ave, Houston, TX.As of now, Saturday 6/1/24, I still have not heard from the district manager as requested or anyone from Micro Center regarding our experience. I've been patient and allowed more than 3 business days, on top of the weekend and holiday. This had been a horrible experience on so many levels. My family has spent 9 hours driving, the gas used to drive there and back, and 8 hours waiting in the store only to be practically laughed at for wanting which we paid for. I work in customer service and understand innocent mistakes happen; however, this was done intentionally. This wasn't just an accident but a horrible disaster. The company I work for owns up when we make a mistake, obviously Micro Center believes they are perfect and never do anything wrong. Your company is a joke!I look forward to hearing from your and your company very soon with an acceptable resolution.Kristin H
