This company is deeply unethical and dishonest. They billed me 700 dollars for a wheelchair, and then when the insurance claim was processed, it was determined I only owed 29.30. When I called to ask about it, the billing representative was instantly aggressive and hostile. She claimed I could only receive a refund if I returned the wheelchair, and she was completely obtuse about the meaning of an insurance claim because she assumed I didn’t know what I was talking about. Breaking my leg has been stressful enough without having to deal with this very predatory and unethical business.

The absolute worst company to deal with !!! My doctors office sent them an order on1/22/24 for all my supplies including my device and all my supplies ., as of april the company did not call me and my doctors office resent the prescription in April the same prescription and Merc said they only received the a perscription for supplies but my doctors office confirmed that the prescription was for the machine and supplies . So Merc misread the prescription . i spoke w my insurance and the insurance said that had Merc indicated that i needed it urgently it would have been approved within 48 hours . Merc denies this and said they did not know that .. Keep in mind i have been without a working cpap since January 2024 . My doctor sent in 2 prescriptions and they had everything at their facility but said they did not have the approval . Once i called this date 5/31/24 .. a so called customer service representative Anna indicated she did not know anything about this and Hung up on me before saying someone would call me back . I contacted my doctors office and when Merc called i patched my doctors office in who infact confirmed that my insurance approved my tubing supplies as well as my cpap months ago . The so called Marcel
supervisor said she is the owner of the company and said she has no record of anything . So my doctors office faxed everything to Merc and only at that point did they say that ok everything is approved . Since i’m in dire need of my devices i reluctantly paid my copay and the supervisor said someone would deliver the device to me today between 3pm and 7pm… i will be calling my insurance company informing them of this as well my doctors office is well aware of the lack of professionalism and rude behavior from the staff at Merc medical . I strongly advise against using this company based on my experience and lack of follow up as well as uncaring attitude the staff at this location 10518 Kipp Way Dr Suit D .

I am a caretaker who was looking for a good medical supplier. Upon calling, I was introduced to Rosa. She was very kind and helpful. She assisted me in finding the right products for my services. I will continue to do business with Merc Medical Supply and look forward to it.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!! BELIVE ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS DONT FALL FOR THE FAKE GOOD REVIEWS!!!!1 STAR CAUSE I HAD TO. This company has the most unprofessional staff and the customerservice is no where to be found. They promised to deliver oxygen between 6pm and 7pm we were there waiting since 5:30pm to 7:45pm we reached out to the company and they told us they would have the driver call or text us. another 45 mins pass by nobody has called us or text us. So we call back and Finally!!! somebody finds out that the oxygen was delivered and left with security guard. Now the oxygen machine is missing parts and their response is come pick it up yourself or pay $15.00 for Delivery. All this mix up was caused by the negligence and disregard for the elderly people they deal with. Now they want to make us pay for their mistake and negligence. The invoice was marked as if they had set up and made sure it was working properly they also checked off that they showed us how to operate and clean the equipment That was a lie. Unless they showed the security guard I asked he Said they didn't. I hope one day when they need it they get the same service they been putting out.

I spoke to Rosa today and just don’t understand why people have to be so rude over nothing. If your that miserable in your job or you aren’t able to separate your home life when you come to work to have attitudes with customers for no apparent reason at all then maybe you shouldn’t be in a field where you need to speak to people and provide a service…. And Christmas is in 2 days..on top of it where is your spirit Rosa ???!!! SMH.

Josh the "technician" needs to be fired. He rushed a job to install a humidifier/suction and we quickly discovered there was a leak when our loved one was connected to it around 7:30pm. By 10pm, we still couldn't reach Josh, who was on call, and had to call an ambulance, (which isn't free so Josh is creating more of a financial burden for an already grieving family and putting someone's life at risk), to transport our loved one back to the hospital as this was becoming a life threatening situation. When he was finally reachable, the next day, he came to repair the problem then tried to connect a hose from the floor (already contaminated) and got irritated when told he needed a new, clean connection. How does he not comprehend the importance of sterile equipment, in a medical setting? He said they don't carry extra hoses in the vehicle so we'd have to wait until Monday and he can't keep coming back to fix things, when that is literally his job. Had he done it correctly to begin with, he wouldn't have had to come back. To make matters worse this equipment was outdated. This type of situation is an avoidable lawsuit just waiting to happen. There is a reason for the number of bad reviews. Do better. Start by getting rid of Josh.

They are honest with their products. I used to buy my hospital bed from another company, they were selling used beds and remote, because the remote did not last and it was more expensive to fix it than buying a new bed. I am glad I found this company. I will recommend this company to anyone.

I wish I could give an Zero for customer service.The technician was horrible,Would not accommodate my mother. It was extremely hard to understand him on the phone.How could you make a statement when you did not know the patient. Was not looking at her order.Please don't spend your money.There are several medical supply companies in Houston.

Maricel is amazing! We desperately needed a hospital bed and wheelchair for a loved one who was transitioning from a nursing home to assisted living. The orders from the nursing home to Merc were vague, incorrect and very last minute. Not Merc's fault. Maricel assured us that she would see to it that the transition would be smooth and timely and she took care if everything! She had our items delivered to the assisted living facility the next day! We were able to move our loved one into a room with the appropriate equipment thanks to Maricel. I would highly recommend her.She is very professional and got the job done!
