what a ripoff! supposedly a store closing sale- all mattress prices were well above market. salesperson was beyond rude - and not in the fun Avalon diner way. topped off with lowball attempt as we headed to door.

I had a terrible experience I felt as though i was with a car sales man . he even said" your not leaving with out buying today" I felt very pressured to buy on the spot, even with my reluctance as i sat at the desk not quiet wanting to buy yet. He kept saying IT was the last day If i dont get it NOW!! How i hate that tactic.. I still was not sure.. he offered to do better on price but just threw in a mattress topper. I did buy.. NOW i regret that I ever did.. The bed is awful and of course there are NO REFUNDS.. Im stuck .. and no one will do a thing about it This is not the place to go if you want some place to work with and feel at ease about your decision and your sales man

Spent over $3600 on an oversized sectional Dec 2021 and have top tier service and same day delivery on a 3pm purchase. Yesterday I went in to purchase a bunkbed for my kids ($589 w/ delivery & assembly) expected to be delivered at 3pm today. I called twice yesterday as well as went in person to confirm it was indeed in stock. I began to receive calls from my sales rep this morning at 10am letting me know that there was an inventory issue and that the bed was not available in that size but a smaller size. Mind you we have already purchased a twin and full mattress to accommodate the new bed being delivered today. They say there is none in stock that size. So I ask to speak with the manager “Mark Tom” and I express to him the great inconvenience as we’re expecting the bed today and how can we be accommodated. Mind you there is a $50 difference between the bed I purchased and the smaller one offered. I ask if the twin/ twin bed is going to be delivered, can they through in a mattress to fit now (twin size) for the inconvenience ( not being delivered before 3pm as planned and the $50 difference). He said no, he can make a deal and I can pay $87 for the mattress. So he can’t delivered what I paid for, when I ask about the difference paid and the bed available there’s a $50, he said the twin mattress cost $179, and I owe $87 for the twin. Where’s the deal, where’s the accommodation for poor inventory tracking, communication and customer service? I mentioned just buying a $3600 in December 2021 (6 months ago) and paying cash, he Said and we thank you but I can’t give more of a deal. I let him know I was offered free same day delivery on that purchase ($100 value) he said I can’t give that type of deal on this purchase, so good customer service, accommodation and availability only comes with large purchases? I took out my card to proceed with payment because I planned on this bed today and I would figure out how to return the full mattress later, and he says he’s not going to do this, and I’m just going to issue you a refund because I have a Memorial Day sale this weekend and I don’t have time for this! And hung up on me. If you don’t spend thousands of dollars at this store you won’t receive customer service, accommodation or respect.

Today I went to Landmark Furniture to search for a mattress. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Mark. Mark showed me numerous mattresses and explained the different technology that each mattress has. After making my selection he wrote up my ticket and directed me to the check-out window.There I was greeted by Cristal. I was asked if I was going to pay with debit or finance my purchase. I had no idea I could finace my purchase. She quickly explained how the 12 month deffered/ no interest payment worked. I was sold.My entire experince was great. Matk and Cristal definitely exceeded my expectations today. I will return the next time I need something and I invite all who read this to see for them selves.Thank You Mark.

Landmark took a stressful situation and stayed in constant contact with me duringthe purchase. My brother lives in Houston and is ill. I was able to purchase a bed for him online as I live in another city. Landmark made sure he received his bed and kept me informed throughout the process.
