When I asked if there was a larger size the sales associate told me I’d have to shop online and when I commented that it would be useful to have something in store she said “you’re lucky they even have larger sizes online” so to say that I think they are fat phobic would be an understatement.

Just went in to make some returns. Lady at the front desk w salt and pepper hair was unreasonably rude to me. Thought o was lying ab not wearing the items. In reality it doesn’t matter. There was absolutely no reason for her to treat me that way. I don’t know if she just hates her job so much she takes it out on customers, it was ridiculous.

This store has significant issues with management and shipping. I ordered a pair of jeans a few weeks ago and received an email a week later stating the item was already delivered. However, I did not receive the jeans but instead got a hat. When I went to the store to inquire, the clerk did not reorder the jeans for me but asked me to go back home, bring the hat, and return it. I find this very unreasonable. Who will cover my hour of travel expenses? Therefore, this store has major operational and shipping issues. I'm very disappointed with this store, and it's unfortunate they don't have ratings lower than 1 star.

This review is for Corporate. I recently interviewed with a recruiter via zoom for this location. A week later i interviewed in store with an assistant manager. I initially assumed the store manager was not in that day with my past experience in retail store managers always interview new hires if present. Your store manager was present. There were 0 customers in store during the entirety of my on floor interview. The store manager (caucasian, female, plus size) was busy standing around talking to other associates, was very cold and dis genuine towards me. My interview went great with the assistant manager. I have over 5 years of retail experience, was told that I've worked with your top 2 rival companies, and that my availability was perfect for what they were looking for (open all day 4 days a week with weekend availability open). At the end of my interview i was told that the store manager would give me a call next day. Its been over a week later and no call. My reason for writing this review is if your company is posting that they are hiring via indeed, glassdoor, ect.? Please make sure that your store managers are vetted when it comes to the hiring process. This particular store manager is obviously not interested in hiring new employees that have experience, are outgoing, & with open availability. Its clearly coming down to a personal issue for your store manager. And this topic should be looked into by the District or Regional Managers. Feel free to look me up in your hiring system under Rachel Champ-Vila my linkedin is copy/pasted under my resume. Although i am thankful for you taking the time to interview me, i apologize that a recruiter wasted time out of her day to interview me for this particular store. At this present time I am no longer interested in working with your company. The values your store manager presented are not ones that i am interested in representing. But, I hope to hear your companies workplace values are improved in the future.

Horrible manager works here who clearly lacks EQ. There were signs everywhere that said no food or drink allowed so my kids and I respectfully put our drinks on the window sill. I browsed the store for less than 10 minutes and then our drinks were promptly thrown away. The manager quickly defended herself saying that unattended drinks are thrown away which tells me this isn’t the first time she’s done this. I understand if they were left there for hours but for 10 minutes?? We should’ve have just kept our drinks in hand. It’s not like the stuff here is worth thousands of dollars…and unless they serve food there we should be able to walk wherever we want with our drinks. The experience was so off-putting that probably won’t shop here for a very long time.

I had a nice lady help me with fittings and recommendations.Im not pleased with the lady at checkout. She’s rude and seemed to be having a bad day.I love my purchases. The prices were hefty though.

Personally I really love the brand Madewell. Their products are always good quality and their styles are mostly appealing to me. I tend to prefer more classic styles with a modern twist and I think many of Madewell's items fit that. I love their leather goods and like that if ordered online you can have them monogrammed with 3 letters. I also am a fan of their jewelry, I own much of it and with the proper care it keeps well for years. Their customer service is really great and their in store service is also excellent. Overall I think they live up to their name and the location in the Galleria did as well.

The staff were great. They gave my friend an expert recommendation and she left with something unexpected but perfect for her. The couch was a comfy place to sit with the baby while she shopped. I never felt rushed or unwelcome sitting there.
