The day after the Tornado on May 17th, I drove 17 miles to this location because my local Lowe's was already out of gas cans and other supplies I needed for the power outage. The cashier, Chloe, was extremely helpful and patient answering all my questions and helping with my purchases of a 5 gallon gas container and a portable AC unit. Thank you Chloe for your kindness during a very stressful time!

ANSWER YOUR PHONES. Stop running scams and stealing from people. The worst business. I'd rather fight the vagrants in Home Depot parking lot then attempt to continue dealing with anyone working at Lowes

Good selection of all things you need in and around your house. Lots of hardware, garden tools, glasses, chairs, sports equipment, barbeque burners, garden furniture, bicycles, really nice outside pillows - everything. Staff was very helpful.

I expect good customer service when I patronize a business but when I receive extraordinary service I feel it is only right to share my experience and highlight the amazing job Justin did in making my day. This associate was unbelievably helpful, knowledgeable, patient, kind, attentive and demonstrated a willingness and desire to serve. Justin thank you for making my shopping experience at Gulfgate Lowe's positive while using your expertise on electrical and saving me from making multiple trips by recommending supplies that I would have missed. Team members like Justin, Izzy, John in Flooring, David at the Pro desk and Ja'Corey in customer service have all contributed to my decision to return to the Gulfgate store often times passing other locations to visit a store where customer service matters.

Their third party delivery service is ??. The dryer looks like it took a nice hit from a forklift. They offered a discount and I rejected it because I wasn't sure if there was any internal damage to the motor. Of course I was frustrated because I had to take time off from work and the third party customer service said they would hang up on me if I said another curse word. I did not direct it towards them and I simply said to just take the washer back, too. They refused to take it back at first, but eventually took it and left damage to my wall and a puddle of water on the floor. The store customer service is excellent, of course, but never again with their third party.
After making contact with Lowe's, it is your responsibility to go and find a contractor with a letterhead with repair costs and send them paperwork to send the third party paperwork and wait for a response. It is time consuming and a hassle. My first and last big purchase from them and their third party delivery service.

They are very friendly. They have more readily available staff to assist than the other alternative big box store. I am always able to find what I'm looking for there.

The african american store manager at the gulfgate location 5/19/2024 at 11:10am is rude and condescending. He has no active listening skills and has no sense of urgency. Most importantly he has no rational thinking skills. First of all, which this reason should be enough. The product that I purchase was defective and he wouldn't accept it at his store and demanded that I take it to the Katy location where it was purchased. The rerun policy was 48 hours, but I missed it by two days. He wouldn't make an exception even after the national disaster in houston. I am still busy trying to get my life and home back together without lights. Show some compassion and be logical.
