Great store with extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. I always get let down with recommendations of bourbon, but took a chance and wound up with a great bottle that I love. Accidentally had beer bottles in a 6 pack drop and break outside the store after purchasing from the condensation softening the cardboard, and no questions asked they replaced the 6 pack and didn’t make me feel bad. Great experience every time and great whiskey store picks.

I bought a bottle of the 1.75L of Don Julio Reposado and had the bottle double bagged by the cashier. I get home and as I grab the bag out of my truck, both bags give way at the bottom and the bottle of tequila hits the driveway.
I immediately call the store back and speak with Jimmy and explained what had just happened. He pretty much told tough luck and couldn’t be helped because it didn’t happen at the store parking lot.
No if’s, and’s, or but’s…
I’ve always tried giving the mom-n-pop stores my business first before the bigger commercial stores. This is the last time I give my business at Longhorn Liquor and will go back to using Spec’s Liquor instead. At least the wrap the bottles of liquors with a protective plastic mesh wrap and send you off in a heavy duty paper bag instead of some cheap thin plastic bags like they do at Longhorn Liquor that will likely bust!

Extremely rude customer service. I asked about my discount and was belittled by the cashier. He proceeded to say that I ask that all the time. All I wanted to do was keep track of my discount. I will never go to there store again. Horrible experience and I’m letting everyone know about the boycott in Mont Belvieu.

With my own eyes I saw someone come out the store and tell an African American person they can’t park in a reserved spot. I understand that the lady was quick and got her food and then proceeded to go into the store to buy a bottle. As she’s going inside the store the guy goes outside and looks at her license plate to still try to get her car towed. Prejudice at its finest.

I’ve been looking for non big box liquor stores around the city and made my first visit here this past weekend. I was really impressed with the selection and competitive prices. They gave me a sample of a store pick whiskey that I ended up buying. I will definitely come here regularly!

Not worth the hassle! I was excited to have a liquor store open so close to home, but I've been in the store once and tried to visit 2 more times. Parking is abysmal, thus the "tried to visit" but couldn't even park, and the prices are ridiculously expensive. Nice folks, but I won't be back.

Stopped in while waiting for a table at Crawfish Cafe. Walked in knowing I had ENTERED A ON MY LIST. Was welcomed in by friendly inviting staff. Was offered samples from 4 vendors. Basically it's one of best liquor stores in Houston. Great experience you won't be disappointed.

Prices aren't quite as cheap as Specs, for example, but the store is extremely clean and well-stocked. The staff is super friendly, and they have a "rewards" program tied to your phone number where you pretty regularly get money off for money spent. This is also like the only time in my life I get to listen to 94.5 The Buzz ever since I got Sirius XM, so the touch of nostalgia helps.They pretty commonly have vendors there giving out taste tests as well, which is cool.
