I was not going to leave a 1 star review but calling my job and telling them I’m shady just because you think I am cause I decided to cancel the deal after I didn’t felt like grabbing my green card, which I understand the suspicion but insinuating I wanted to fight you because of my stance and brading me, calling my personal place of work when I’m conducting personal matters and not representing them, just wearing their shirt and cussing me out infront of other customers is not appreciated. That’s not professional. You can release any video you want to prove me wrong since you threatened to post it and expose me.

Lone Star Defense and Arms is the best little gun shop in Texas! Owned and operated by David and Amy, they are there every day and ready to help. They give great advice on all things gun related. Their prices are fair, and they are very honest. No hidden fees or “tack on” fees that so many other places like to surprise you with at check out. What you see is what you get – no surprises, and no shady tactics to squeeze another nickel out of you. Their in-store inventory is good, but their online inventory is massive. Anything you buy from their online store comes quickly with no shipping or FFL transfer fees; it is just like you bought it in the store.
Where they really shine is with services. From FFL to tax stamps and other more complicated transfers they have a plan and advice for everything, and their recommendations always make it easier. I have learned if you just explain what you want/need, they figure out the most efficient, legal, fair, safe, and painless way to get it done.
When doing a deal, you get a lot in writing from them, pay attention and read it to make your life easier. Otherwise, you may miss steps or forget things and end up wasting your own time (like I have).
This is the “go-to” gun store in Houston.

Had my item shipped went Saturday morning 1st one in the line. Took of a star because they have banking hours ? so checks before you make that drive. Other thank that it as smooth transaction and the employees are nice.

This was my first gun purchase so I was a bit nervous. As soon I entered the shop, I was greeted by Manny, Amy, and David. Everyone was super nice and very professional which made me feel more at ease. Manny gave me his top recommendations for self defense guns & I ended up purchasing a Glock 42. Thank you guys so much!!! 10/10 recommend.

I found a gun in my dad's house after he passed. I knew very little about it and decided to sell, thinking it wasn't worth much. Two different shops offered me very little (one said $80). Then I went to Lone Star Defense, where I found out it was actually very rare and valuable. The other places either didn't know any better or were dishonest. Not Lone Star - they knew I didn't realize what I had and could've easily scammed me. They gave me a couple options, clearly looking out for my best interest, not their own. David, Amy, and Manny were extremely knowledgeable, passionate about what they do, and overall just really nice people - friendly, laid back, obviously very honest - people with integrity who take pride in what they do and treat others like they'd want to be treated themselves. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you, Lone Star Defense!

Always a great experience. These are the nicest gun store owners I've ever met. Extremely polite and helpful. This is where I go for all my ffl transfers. They have the process down. I highly recommend this place. They're good people.

the fastest FFL transfer process. I was literally out in less than 10 minutes. Everyone, there was polite and answered all my questions definately my favorite gun store so far.

This Gun Shop is a great place to do business. The two owners in the store are great to deal with, very knowlegable and friendly. I've been coming here for a little over a year and they are always quick and efficient. You cant beat the price for transfers either. I highly recommend Lone Star Defense & Arms and this will be my FFL for many years to come.

The employees are knowledgeable, helpful, and very friendly. This is the kind of gun shop it’s safe to bring your kids to, not the kind a meth head can fence a stolen gun. They do a good job of educating people, and giving resources to get more formal training. While all the shops in the area are trying to get as much money out of you as possible, these people are making sure both sides are happy. I won’t go anywhere else.

Best Gun Store in Spring Branch hands down. The owners are always friendly and informational. I've been a customer for years. Aside from their diverse selection of consignment items they have an extensive online catalog for sale.
