This is one of my favorite restaurants... It's one of the nicest casual restaurants in Houston... Not only is it comfortable with amazingly good food... The variety continues to dazzle... I highly recommend it as an easy go to place

The prime rib and baked potatoes were excellent. Broad menu that covers many food types and should satisfy nearly every taste. The decor is a throwback to the early restaurants that populate Washington Ave.

I booked through Open Table and let them know we were celebrating a birthday, so there was a nice sign at the table when we arrived. The service was quick and food was great. I had the French Dip with provolone cheese and French fries and half a sandwich was still too much to eat. My only complaint was that our server seemed to forget we were celebrating a birthday because he asked if we were ready for dessert or the check before bringing out the birthday dessert. We ended up splitting a delicious Italian Crème cake and then the brownie with ice cream, which was also very good.

Absolutely loved Lorenzo's restaurant. It's like going back in time. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was excellent. I just loved it on every level and will definitely be back.

As usual, the food and service were exceptional! Best place in town for fresh, well seasoned and perfectly prepared redfish. Hamburger was generous in size & delicious; as were the mozzarella appetizers and my sauté spinach. Thank you Mike for great service and attention

Excellent service and wonderful food and portions. The lettuce wedge was fresh and full of bacon with a nice blue cheese dressing. The prime rib one of the best cooked and tasting we have had. We also had pork chops, chicken Parmesan and the prime rib sandwich. All were excellent.

The food and service at Laurenzo's is always great. Had lunch there yesterday with 3 of my friends. I ordered the Durango fish dish, which is my favorite, it exceeded expectations and was especially delicious yesterday. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Since I'm somewhat of a regular, I requested that Milton be our server, as usual, his service was extraordinary and he anticipated all of our needs and ensured everyone's meal was delicious and drinks remained full. If you ever need a go-to business lunch or dinner restaurant, Laurenzo's should always be one of your top choices!

My husband and I took a friend to Laurenzo's to celebrate her birthday. The staff went above and beyond to make the meal memorable. When we arrived there was a birthday sign and confetti on the table. Our waiter Mike made all of us feel special but was especially kind to the guest of honor. We enjoyed the prime rib, French dip, and chicken piccata. I highly recommend the delicious birthday cake even if you aren't celebrating a birthday. Thank you to everyone at Laurenzo's for treating us so well.

My other 3 dining with me were happy , BUT 60% of the time I cannot receive a med rare French dip . Even when I impress upon the waiter I want med rare. Very disappointed that I can't get a med rare French dip ( was not even pink at all).

Laurenzo's is a favorite place of mine. The service is exceptional, the food is delicious, the bar is always hopping and the menu has lots of options. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a fabulous lunch at Laurenzo's! The service was impeccable, and every bite was delicious. We shared the prime rib quesadillas and they were so good. There was plenty for two women to share. Thank you for a great time.

I love this restaurant. The food quality is always great. My only issue is that there is always something wrong with my bill. They always fix it, but it gets old having to double check the bill every time.

We were there for Mother's day and ordered a cup of soup, cup of red beans and rice. We split the roasted beet salad. Our entrees were the 8 oz prime rib with asparagus. Everything was delicious with the exception that both 8 oz prime ribs had hard gristle running through them. We have been to Laurenzo's many times and often order the prime rib (it is the best) but this time the quality was not the same and it was only after we had eaten a portion of the meat before we noticed the problem with the gristle. Our service was great (as usual) and I did not bring this issue to his attention but I feel like the individual who prepared our meals should have noted the problem when they were slicing the meat and plating it. I needed 2 toothpicks to remove the stringy material from my teeth before I could continue my meal. Otherwise our meal was great.

First time there and had no prior expectations. It was beautiful, comfortable and the food and service was great. My husband was thrilled that Prime Rib was one of their specialties!

We hadn't been to Laurenzo's in a while and I don't know why! There is plenty of easy parking out front. We walked in and were immediately greeted by a very friendly and courteous hostess who checked us in for our reservation and promptly seated us. Our waiter Oscar quickly arrived, and took excellent care of us the whole evening. The food was terrific, and the menu was very deep. We enjoyed a really terrific evening and shall return soon.
