I showed up to the location at 11 on a Saturday with the intention to get a bridesmaid's dress length altered . I did not have an appointment. I did not know this was by appointment only until..... I arrive and realized I have to be buzzed in to get to their office on the 2nd floor. I could see someone in the office walking around as I was standing on first floor. I called 3 times to request to be buzzed in and no answer. I decided to get in my car and drive up to second floor. Got in the building finally and walked to the suite. The door was not open so I buzzed the door bell 5 TIMES and was completely ignored. No one would answer the door even though I knew someone was in there! INCREDIBLY RUDE!

Laura did an incredible job with my daughter’s bridal gown and my wife’s dress and was attentive/very helpful throughout the wedding day last Saturday. I highly recommend Laura's Couture & Alterations! My wedding dress was perfect. I have gotten so many compliments on how well the dress was fitted to my body. My dress was a strapless, floor-length ballgown, and with the alterations that they made to my dress I didn't have to worry with it falling or slipping once all night! I loved working with all of the staff. They were so knowledgeable about every aspect of the alterations process. My wedding dress was fitted perfectly and I cannot recommend this place enough!

Laura's Couture made magic happen with a dress that was almost ruined by another seamstresses alterations. She is a lifesaver!!! With only a few weeks notice, Laura completely redesigned my dress to match my original vision and was able to perfect her alterations in only two visits. I received so many compliments throughout my wedding on my dress design and fit, and I owe it all to Laura and her daughter!

My dress had a lot of delicate mesh and there was some major changes I wanted to make to the back zipper. Laura was such a professional and even my advocate when the designer sent the wrong zipper. Her and her team went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the outcome and worked so well with the delicate mesh. I would 100% recommend her to anyone nervous about wedding dress alterations. She cares so much about her clients!!

Laura and her mom absolutely SAVED my wedding dress. I bought a dress based on what I was told the alternations could be. After leaving my first fitting I was so stressed because I did NOT like my dress. I thought I was going to have to buy a new one. That was not the case by the second fitting when Laura and her mom basically transformed my dress! I went from hating to absolutely LOVING my wedding dress. They’re the absolute best and can do anything! I’m so grateful for their expertise and professionalism.

Everything is clearly explained regarding the process, deadlines, and expectations with each visit. They care about making quality alterations and making sure you look your best. They work magic!! I purchased a dress from Bronx and Banco but when I got it in, I noticed the cups were A size and the neckline was straight across. I took it to Laura's Couture to work magic. Upon shortening the dress, some extra material was used from the bottom to add D cups and make a sweetheart line. I was a little worried it wouldn't look right after such big alterations but they did a wonderful job! I truly felt like the princess I should on my wedding day!! So impressed with the final look. I am still getting compliments from my epic outfit change! I also took my wedding dress here which needed some minor alterations and it turned out perfectly as well of course. They also did my bustle and color coded it for my maid of honor - she was very thankful for that! Laura thinks of it all and does stunning work. It is rather pricey but that's expected for quality wedding alterations. My final bill was right at $2k for 2 dresses.

My wedding process was so stressful and I had to reschedule due to family loss and Covid a few times. However when it came to my dress alterations. They made the process easy. After my postponement I gained a few pounds and the dress didn’t fit right anymore. They made magic and totally fixed the dress to fit me perfectly and was everything I wanted. So grateful to them!!!

Laura & team truly saved my wedding dress. I needed my dress taken out and to replace the neckline (I wasn’t sure initially either were possible bc my dress was entirely satin with a structured bodice) and Laura went above and beyond to make the changes just as I envisioned, get extra fabric shipped from the designer, coordinate with the bridal salon I ordered the dress from initially, etc. Laura was a true magician and an absolute joy to work with. She truly cared about my vision and did everything she could to deliver it for me, while being incredibly patient and kind with my indecisiveness. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for dress alterations - thank you Laura and team!
