My father in law bought a tire from dude for my wife’s Malibu. 2 months later the tire has a ball forming on the side of the tire. Went back to see why he was sold a defective tire. Dude did not take responsibility for the tire. Said that we caused that we never purchased the tire there but my father in law has been going to him for years. Then he says that we bought that tire somewhere else because it doesn’t match the other tires. Well no duh. My wife’s car is brand new with continental tires. Got a nail in 1 tire that was unrepairable. So how was the tire supposed to match when he’s selling defective off brand tires. I don’t care it is off brand but at least give me a safe tire and take responsibility. I still had to pay for the new tire either way because I wasn’t going to drive on a bad tire.
