AAAA!!! My mom and I love this store. I come by every couple of weeks to get soaps and such, too :)). The sweetest people work here. I come here to destress, too. Highly recommend. DO NOT pass this place up!!

I went in yesterday with my family to shop for products. There was 2 people browsing the store when we walked in. The two associates were just standing and did not even greet us. They were staring at us the entire few minutes we browsed. I have 2 young kids who were well behaved, but they were giving us the stare down as if my kids would do some damage! We felt so unwelcome and left. Won’t be coming back again.

I love this place. I can't believe I've just discovered it after living in Houston for a decade. It's a tiny shop that immediately takes me to the south of France. They carry my favorite perfume from France and their prices are less than what you'd pay at big department stores.

I love this little shop. In the back you will find the most exquisite collection of French kitchen pottery. The most beautiful colors, the most interesting utensils. Garlic holders, bowls, salt and pepper containers, olive oil containers, and on and on. I've bought so many things for my kitchen, I feel like I live in the French countryside. And the staff is delightful.

Loved la taste. Lotions, potions, soaps, candles, and artisanal kitchen and decorative tableware, all in a beautiful store with really nice staffers who are eager and helpful. One of their strong suites is their tremendous selection of Thymes products.

Months ago, I accompanied my wife and in-laws to La Taste for my wife's favorite bubble bath, Aqua Coraline. Her and her sisters admired the imported, pricey pottery from France, they were tasteful, even when the whimsical pieces. Yesterday, after a rare lunch in the Village I went by and bought this platter for my wife to pair up the (in my opinion) garish Amalfi rooster on the kitchen island. She LOVED being surprised by a gift she found precious. And yes, it had three colors matching her rooster. The store clerk was attentive, I was the only customer at the moment, and she quickly climbed a ladder to fetch the dish off it's perch, very personable.

A great little gift shop with a variety of high-quality soaps, diffusers, eau de parfum, and more. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they carry Fragonard products and similar lines!

From the name of this store you would think it was a store specializing in Food, but is not. This store specializes in French products with a couple of American brands. This little gem has French jams, salts spices, candies; basically specialty food items in back of the store. However, the front of store has beautifully rich soaps, creams, candles and bath products from France. This a great store hostess gifts, Birthday gifts and just for items to pamper yourself. This a store you definitely check out!
