Please be careful when you come to this Kroger. Awhile back I was sitting in my car before getting out. Thankfully my doors were locked. Some random man came up to my car and tried to open my passenger door. When I made eye contact with him he then told me "open the door." I shook my head no, he started looking around the parking lot and I assume he got nervous and walked away. Needless to say I didn't end up going into Kroger. Stay safe.

The customer service representative by the name Taryn displayed extremely poor service just now. A lady was struggling to pay for the service she required due to a language barrier. The older Asian lady wasn't understanding the prompts on the screen to pay, and when she finally figured it out with the assistance from the gentleman next in line (in front of me) the card decline. She received the text from the bank but once again didn't understand that she needed to verify that it wasn't fraud since she was paying a large amount for the service. She had to call her husband to translate for her because the customer service representative couldn't perform her job to a minimal standard. I stepped in to help the older lady and had her checked out in less than 30 seconds after replying to the message on her phone. This was so simple to do and did not require holding up the line for 10+ minutes. I'd recommend that Taryn be sent to a course on customer service because her demeanor was extremely negative, and everyone in the line could see it. I've been coming to this Kroger for the last 12 years, and since I've seen her work that counter, the performance of hers has always been the same.

There was a power outage in Houston end of May. I’d stopped by to order my daughter’s graduation cake. When I pulled up, I was told the store is closed but I started talking to a young man standing outside the store by the name of Cameron. I asked if I’m able to place an order for my daughter’s cake that I’m Concerned if I’m not able to at least place the order today, I won’t have it in time for her graduation and graduation party on Saturday the 1st. He told me to wait, he went inside got the cake lady she came out with a pen and pad & took my order right there on the Curbside. I wanted to add my daughter’s graduation photo on the cake, but I did not have it on me. She nicely asked me to bring the photo back that Thursday and she’ll have the cake ready on Friday. I dropped it off on Thursday it was ready Friday afternoon as promised. Her cake was not only beautiful, but it was yummy. No hangups from this store location and I really appreciated them for going the extra mile to help a desperate Mom make her daughter’s high school graduation party a blast! Thank you team!

The product they sell is very expensive. That discount card thing is a pure lie. They change prices and with the discount card you pay the same regular price. Very expensive products that someone can find those products at a lower price. I will never buy again.

The fact that I have to check out a cart full of groceries in self checkout on a Saturday morning at 10am is the reason you get one star. This isn’t the first time. I’ve learned my lesson this time though.

Unpleasant Experience at KrogerI am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding an unfortunate incident that occurred at your establishment on the 18th of December. My mother, a loyal customer, visited the store to purchase groceries, which included a bag of grapes. Upon returning home, she discovered that the grapes were missing from her bag.Given the late hour, she decided to address the issue the next day due to a scheduled doctor's appointment on the opposite side of town. Regrettably, the experience that ensued was disheartening. When she informed the store manager about the situation, she was met with a disapproving glare, as if she were attempting to deceive the store over a four-dollar item.To resolve the matter, my mother had to return to the specific register where the grapes were purchased. After explaining her situation to a worker, the grapes were located. Unfortunately, the entire incident unfolded without a genuine apology from the store or its staff.The lack of courtesy, respect, and basic customer service is deeply troubling. This incident tarnished the shopping experience for a customer who had just spent over $100 at your store. The insensitivity displayed by your staff is unacceptable, especially towards an elderly customer.I implore you to address this issue promptly and reevaluate the training provided to your staff in terms of customer relations. Such treatment is not only disheartening but also reflects poorly on Kroger as a reputable grocery store.I sincerely hope that corrective measures will be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future. As a concerned customer, I urge you to prioritize respectful and courteous customer service to maintain the trust and loyalty of your clientele.
