Kroger pharmacy is wonderful place to be I been coming to kroger for many years and everyone is awesome and caring.pharnacist and techs are always pleasant and caring.

Wow. An senior in his 70s was denied a pain med tramidol have having a total hip replacement just 8 hrs earlier. He was prescribed by his orthopedic surgeon two pain meds with specific instructions on when yo take or not take as needed. He had never been on pain meds before. First walmart would only fill one and the other. So the doctor sent the tramidol to kroger for filling. They refused. This is crazy. He had the doctor instructions on use and never had problems prescribing both for pain management. This man had no record of pain pill use at all. This is totally wrong for a pharmacy to over ride a medical doctor who is a renound orthopedic surgeon at a hospital in the houston medical center. . So wrong. These pharmacy ppl should be held liable for pain and suffering. If a person can't control pain they can not heal properly. A pharmacist is not a doctor. There was no red flags on this elderly patient.

I love Kroger pharmacy as they are precise and helpful and coming back soon when I change insuranceIn coming year....but one guy thereIs rude to people as he's overworking himself ...he's just not a people person. ....the Asian were very friendly and informative.So that's what I care about ...Walgreens and Walmart is not as good according to our needs...if you say you gonna have all four prescriptions ready on the 14thThen you are supposed to as promised because we need that medicine ??

This pharmacy is awesome. They actually know me by name and offer great and quick service. The older pharmacists are also good.

Customer service is the worst I have experienced in all my grocery shopping. Matthew is in an elevated role and was shockingly rude by interrupting my question, off putting nonverbal (I.e. annoyed glaring, closed off body language), and smirked when he delivered disappointing answer to me. It seemed he found joy in letting the customer down. It's unfortunate this type of service is in a leadership position as it was evident his actions was setting an example for cashiers. I felt unwanted and uncomfortable shopping and paying here. I'll spend the extra 5min driving to another store after this encounter.

They did not let me use good Rx, just because they think its already cheaper with my insurance. In the past i didnt have that issue using goodrx with on top of my insurance.

Just so-so. Frequently out of items I desire, but closest to home. Tonight however was the final straw: at least 7 people on a Friday night at 7pm waiting for self checkout lines to become available- this isnt Walmart, why can't they open other checkout lines? When I finally make it to checkout I required clearance for the bottle of wine I wished to purchase- I asked the employee who wasn't standing but 2 feet from me, Jill; she replied, "oh I don't do that", and walked away. She called a younger employee to the area to check my id as well as assist the 2 other lanes that were already flashing. I'm sorry, you don't do what? READ? MATH? Work as a team? No explanation from Jill. It's only a state law to verify age for alcohol purchases, no special skills required. The 20 year old at the liquor store next door checks ids just fine, I'll be more than happy to provide them or HEB with my patronage from now on.

I love this store. The prices are great, the staff are friendly and it's never crowded like HEB on Bunker Hill. Pharmacy is quick & staffed by nice people. The parking lot is well-lit. This has been my go-to grocery store for 20 years and will continue to be.

Ever since Tommy the pharmacist left, service has been terrible. They promised 30 min fill, it takes over 2 hrs and no one cares.

Apparently, you cannot fill prescriptions here unless you pay into the Kroger membership program. I have had 3 prescriptions sitting here for over a month. They keep giving me the runaround that they don't have it in stock. Upon my 3rd visit today, they told me that I cannot fill my prescription here and that I need to go back to my other pharmacy. My insurance doesn't cover my meds anymore, so I use GoodRX, and Krogers has the lowest proces with them .Now I'm being told they don't have a doctor, pharmacy relationship with Krogers and I need to go somewhere else.Are you kidding me? The pharmacist became rude and didn't care about my disposition. Ridiculous. Shame on you Krogers, and shame on your poor customer service. Stop giving people the runaround on their prescriptions for a month only to reject them for not having your pharmacy subscription! Good thing there are other grocery stores to shop at!Just a shame I now have to pay an additional $150 on meds because you could care less about people using GoodRX!

this store is terrible. most of the staff do not want to help, the specials / promotions often require customer to buy 5 of a particular item, the layout s terrible , parking is poorly configured, and forget the self check out : it's the worst ( broken machines, inadequate staffing). Forget this place -- go to fiesta down the street

I understand these guys work really hard. But there is no excuse for at least one of them being rude at all times at this Kroger Pharmacy on Wirt and Westview! He is just a rude person that makes you feel like you cannot ask a question or two as a customer!! ☹️
