Poor customer service, homeless people everywhere, poor management, two checkout lanes open . This Kroger is one of the worst!

The selection is fine, but their prices compared to other local stores are so much higher.
They seem to typically try to funnel people to self-checkout lanes by operating 1-2 traditional lanes even at peak times, which end up incredibly busy and understaffed.
The staff working those self-checkout lanes have always been friendly, and I in no way fault them.
I've lived in the area for 10 years and shop here for smaller purchases for cooking, but I really don't think I'll be back after today.

The store Is filthy and has an oder the employees are rude and have terrible attitudes. Rebuild and start over with new employees.

River oaks should have the best top notch kroger. But it's run down out of stock out dated food no workers to bag your groceries-cashier has to bag it. Homeless ppl everywhere... ?

Easy in and out stop for groceries. Not enough check out lanes in the evenings.

Don’t NOT SWIPE YOU EBT CARDS AT THIS STORE!!! It’s full of card skimmers and I believe it’s an internal job bc I have been hit twice on the last two money once for $800 and the next $963!!! Someone there internally is planting these card skimmers and burn ppl. My friend was hit for $880 as well after shopping there!! Don’t swipe ur cards here!! There is an investigation about this pending

Might as well drive 5 miles to a grocery store that has registers open. This store staffs so the lines are long, no matter how busy or not busy it is.

Although as much as I love HEB, the one in River Oaks/Downtown has a huge congestion and parking problem. Kroger is my go to store albeit a bit expensive!

Always clean, and the deli guy is always smiling and inviting.
The basket guy is always helpful and full of energy and keeps the store filled with baskets ready to go shopping.

I am not sure if this is the store the lady in the right went too, but it is disgusting what happened in the krogers she went too, look at how the staff even flicked her off!!! she deserves to get fired! the lady has a son with conditions that the staff is unaware off, she stepped up the the lady and stated that her son was a disturbance to the store and other customers by screaming! mind you he has conditions, the mom asked and confronted the supervisor and they didn’t even acknowledge what was going on, no one cared!!! she also told an 8yr old to grow tf up, because the 8yr old stated why are you being a karen… she deserves justice as no one cared of how she felt because of the worker actions… why no one seems to care about what occur something is weird and the corporate office deserves to know how this store is approaching customers!
