I went in to the Audio shop and expected to Pay the usual high price, But when they told me the total i was shocked how low the price was I got 4 speakers and a Radio and they installed it in only an hour. this shop by far is one of the most professional Audio stores I've ever been to. Staff are Friendly and very honest and if i ever have any issues there happy to help. I really appreciate this store and cant wait to buy another car so they can put another system in it.

This review is long over due. I came here to upgrade from my factory system as I have been doing for years. I had a system installed in another car years back and never had an issue for 4 years (then I sold the car). So when I bought my mustang and decided to upgrade it was a no brainer where I would go. Boy was I wrong. First I got my speakers redone. Later I decided to go ahead and change out my factory radio. So I had to get a $600 kit along with a radio & updated a couple more speakers (wanted JL audio throughout). This was in summer of 2018 ( June/July). Now they did give me a small demonstration on the radio and unit because it replaced my AC HVAC controls. They turned on the AC and it blew cold like the factory so I was satisfied. I admit that I am partially to blame because I should have checked everything to ensure it worked because winter comes a long and guess what, no heat. I never even asked about how to turn on the heat, I mean it did look pretty simple. So I go back up there. They blamed it on a faulty kit. I had warranties on it and they replace the kit, great. After they replace the kit, still no heat but got an added problem where it seems after 20 minutes of driving the kit has no powers, radio goes out but the AC is on continuously full blast with no way to cut it off..did I mention it was winter? I took it back up there 2 more times before they advised they need the factory radio to reprogram the kit. By this time the factory radio was gone, but they swore they told me to keep it cause this could happen. THAT WAS A BLATANT LIE, but again partially my fault. So I took it back maybe 4 more times and they kept resetting and once again the same thing kept happening. In a 3 month span I was miserable cause not only did I spent a lot of money on something I couldn't enjoy I could barely drive my car cause the ac was on full blast fogging up my windows on days it was cold out. The worst part of it all is them getting frustrated with me even the manager and basically told me unless you get the factory there is nothing I can do for you. I sent a lot of customers their way, I never cut up about the issue, treated then with respect although I wanted to shed tears and to be treated that way was hard to take. My husband suggested I have someone else look at it but I was worried about the warranty I had on everything. But after much thought I really didn't care about that cause these folks would never get my business again. I rather start over from scratch before that happens. I found another place and call them and told them my issues. They had a lot of knowledge on the kit, provided me some alternatives and was willing to look at it and do what they can for FREE. I drop my car off late February to them. Not only did I find out that I got ripped off with the price of the kit, the wiring job they did was horrible. I had loose wires everywhere, they were able to partially fix my car (still no heat with this kit but now my radio works, I can at least control the AC, and it hadn't cut off since. They took pictures of the bad wiring job along with what they to fix it. I tried to pay them cause they really didn't have to take out time to help me for free but they would not accept my money. I was a little skeptical at first but it's now June and it hadn't cut off yet. I'm long over due for giving them a review cause although I was not a paying customer, they treated me just as valuable. I know with technology things go wrong, hell I would have even tried to purchase another kit but the treatment I receive was horrible and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. I had a simple loose wire so I went to get it fixed, I WAS quoted $20 to fix however he said to come back the next day, and which I did. But then he changed the price from $20 to $85 per hour... I agreed reluctantly because I was already there. But after he looked at the vehicle thoroughly he tried to upsell me a new headset for my Mercedes which was going to cost $2,700. I decided to get a second opinion, and which they fix my loose wire for $45 and my radio is back up and running. I feel like this company is very untrustworthy and are cheating people constantly. Buyer beware and I highly recommend before they start working on your vehicle to get something in writing. BUYER BEWARE!

James at audio express was super helpful. I went in just to get A Bluetooth stereo with rear view camera. James was not an annoying high pressure hard sale salesman, which I appreciated, but he just gave me suggestions, and explained the difference between the products well, and what was available. In the end I bit the bullet and ended up getting a much better stereo, changed out speakers, got a sub woofer, rear view camera and alarm. I'm glad I did and wish I had done much sooner. It sure makes a big difference in the driving experience to have a good sound system to enjoy in this Houston traffic. I really appreciated their help.

This place has a one star for a reason. DO NOT COME HERE. Got a new amp and sub installed in my Jeep a little over a year ago, and in that year it has been nothing but trouble. Before they installed it, I told them I wanted the amp under the passenger seat, they said no we install them in the back, under the cover. We do this all the time, so stupid me I agreed. About a month latter the amp went out. They ended up having to switch it out without explanation. a few months latter the steering wheel controls went out. Went in, and they had to replace something and update the the interface that THEY installed. Now for the past month, the radio has been cutting in and out, took it over there and oh we cant recreate the problem, funny how the warranty was about to expire in a week and they "couldn't recreate it." There are tons of places in Houston to take your vehicle to get a new sound system, I suggest you read all the reviews and stay away from Audio Express.

I visited Audio Express on a Friday afternoon, because I figured they would be busy over the weekend. (Something, I'd definitely recommend as it was quiet and I got immediate help.) I have an older vehicle and wanted to upgrade my car stereo receiver with Bluetooth+ other fun stuff to keep me sane on car trips. I was quickly greeted by Aaron, who was very friendly, knowledgeable, and personal. He listened to what I was looking for, gave me plenty of options (some definitely pricier than I intended). Eventually we narrowed it down to two units that had the options I was looking for. I picked the one that had a few more bells and whistles, but did exactly what I needed. Aaron mentioned later that he was relatively new to the store, but I really couldn't have cared less. He had a terrific helpful attitude that made the experience enjoyable. He showed me a variety of other products that were related to our conversation (but not necessarily what I came in for), that demonstrated this store has a lot of items to improve your audio experience or are just useful/fun. While I waited for my installation, I spoke with some of the people that weren't even assisting me but were very pleasant and friendly. (Maybe they were bored, but I don't really care.) To make a long story short, I had my radio and satellite kit installed and ready in about 1 hour. That's why I'd recommend going when it's quiet if you can. I noticed there aren't many reviews on Yelp and all give Audio Express 1 star. I am not giving them a high rating to balance this out, but genuinely had a good experience. Also, if you do a Google Search you will see significantly more reviews with a much less condemning rating. I am posting this review there as well.

Pretty terrible experience today . Arrived at 9am(opening) to get a single din installed in my car.i called the day before and got a quote of $109.00. When I showed up I was quoted $165.00 but they adjusted after mentioning the quote. I asked if they could run an rca to the trunk for me which they charged me an extra $50!.... about two and a half hours later the installer came out to let me know there was a crack in my ac vent before he removed it so he wouldn't be blamed for it . Well I know there wasn't a crack in it because I literally just bought and installed a brand new one after purchasing the car 3 weeks prior since the fins were broken on the old one .its obvious they tried to pry it off from the top when the clips that hold it on are on the bottom. I was already frustrated from the wait ,my anxiety level was starting to rise and i didn't want to go back and forth over it so I just said ok , just get me out of here already is what I told myself. Over three hours later to install a single din( mind you the place was empty besides one van somebody was working on) the installer pulled up all the way over the side walk . I said "oh no" out loud when I saw it . My car is not lowered but is only factory bmw "sports suspension" . when I reversed out the spot it pulled my bumper off completely on one side and stripped out the screw holding it in place So I went there with a perfectly good car and leave with a crack in my ac vent that I will have to change once again and a zip tied bumper . On the bright side the installer gave me extra zip ties in case it falls off again . I should have went to the shop down the road the quoted me $59 dollars but didn't because on my previous install they had poor wire management. Boy was that a mistake .

This place is trash and a complete rip off. The Guy tryed to sale me a amp with the price marked up $50 and I was like I'll pass no thank you. Then wants to make a deal and I was ok with price. Then he tryed to get me by charging %20 tax. So I caught on to what he was doing. Called him out on it and then he starts yelling at me and cussing. Talking about this isn't Mexico and some other b.s.. Don't waste your money or time here. Note: I didn't talk with Ray it was some other guy
