I recently purchased a car battery from Interstate Batteries, expecting the reliable performance they claim to offer, but unfortunately, my experience has been anything but satisfactory. The battery’s performance has been extremely disappointing. It struggles to hold a charge and fails to provide dependable power, even under normal conditions. I’ve found myself dealing with a drained battery more often than I’d like, which is incredibly inconvenient.
As for durability, it’s a disgrace. The battery showed signs of failure far sooner than any other I’ve used in the past, which speaks poorly of its quality and construction. To make matters worse, when I reached out to customer service hoping for assistance or at least some guidance, I received no meaningful help or support.
Based on this experience, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Interstate Batteries—not even to my opposition. I expected better quality and service, and this purchase has proven to be a major disappointment.

I called the store to get a quote for a battery and was given a better price for it. Drove from a different part of town and then walked in to be told that the price Dylan quoted was was incorrect due to him being new. Coming from a customer service/retail industry I should have been honored the price I was quoted regardless of the “miscommunication “. Him being new should not have affected the number I was quoted. We left very upset and then went back in to speak to the manager but was told there wasn’t one staffed which I find hard to believe. This is the standard customer service I’m used to with them. Never had this problem before. Train your people properly!

Would give 0 starts if possible, why sell batteries with warranty if you’re not willing to give me a new one? My battery has been dying and I have unfortunately been stranded having to ask people to give me a jump with cables. I even had a mechanic look at my car to ensure it’s nothing on my end; nope car is perfectly fine. The battery however has died four times in the past two months what does interstate do? Claim that the battery works, charges it and gives it back to us. We have been back and forth 3/4 times and no one can tell us why they can’t do more than just charge the battery. I am highly disappointed I hope whom ever sees this review thinks twice before purchasing a battery from them. I have now purchased a new battery elsewhere. I regret giving y’all my business.

The battery in my wife's car decided that 5 years was enough in this Houston heat, so we stopped off at the Interstate battery store. Ivy was wonderful in helping us get a replacement battery installed, she had such a wonderful positive outlook and great customer service - we will definitely be back! Thank you, Ivy!

Very bad service, waste of time here.They'll sell you battery all day but when you need warranty replacement they will make a living nightmare. All sort of excuses and make you wait 24hours before they determine they can help youI recommend sticking to advance auto or Walmart ANY place than this

I went to the Jones Rd and 1960 location to get my battery looked at and the worker name Rudy was very rude and unprofessional he was loud talking and was rushing me away. I've always heard good things about this place and so I wanted to give it a try, but I'll never be going back there ever because he was very aggressive with me. I started asking for a manager and he told me call in the morning for my help.....
