Don't donate here. They're already funded through government money for their refugee services. It's deceptive for them to even be called a non-profit in the first place. Not only that, all they're doing in the long run is creating artificial demand for housing, which makes the cost of rent higher than what it needs to be.

Interfaith Ministries is the NPO that brings together people of different faiths to serve the community in need thru Meals on Wheels + AniMeals, and other programming. Meals On Wheels helps to feed the most vulnerable - the elderly, veterans and the disabled. MOW accepts food donations from the public, as well as accepts volunteers to compile food kits at their facility and also volunteer to do food drop-offs. They also create food kits for pets of these recipients through AniMeals, as many elderly choose to give what little food they have to their pets. This programming helps to fill that gap. They also create handmade birthday and holiday cards for recipients. Volunteer if you can. Donate if you can. Especially during these times. Be well.

I volunteered here, and am super impressed to know this service is provided to seniors in need, many of them isolated. It warms my heart to know so many good people show up to deliver food to those in need every single day. Give these folks some money!! They're doing wonderful work!

I hit hard times and I have a furry friend that my emotional support pet. I can pay rent and my expensive but it doesn't leave anything for food or pet food. I google search pet food banks and every non-profit told me about meals on wheels. The quote was, ("Anyone can get help from Meals on Wheels! You just need to find the one that serves your area!") I was told by the intake worker answering the emails and phones. When I reached out to Interfaith! I was told right off the bat without blinking an eye! I doubt you qualify for assistance! WAIT?! What? I haven't even you told any details regarding my situation! I was either old enough or I was not house bond! Every non-profit told me to contact them for help with pet food assistance! In recent days after weeks of trying to find pet food pantry and all the leads that I was given DO NOT GIVE to INDIVIDUALS! I had no choice but to give up my emotional support pet! So Interfaith Ministries for blowing me off without even knowing any details of my case! I know Meals on Wheels does good! Not THIS TIME! I lost my emotional SUPPORT PET!

It just came to my attention that this organization is only helping illegal immigrants and not the elderly citizens in need of help. So, be aware of who you are donating to, it's not going where they say its going to...

The staff were so few but dedicated. All the volunteers were eager to help. It was a little hott...(I don't know how they do it themselves) but they offer as many brakes as you need.
