We have been going to see Frederick Shepard for a few years now. He has turned the arduous task of completing our taxes into an enjoyable time. We drive over 40 mins each way to sit with Frederick. As any parent of two young ones knows, time is precious.And yet we still make it a point to use our time to see Frederick. He is always encouraging us and provides great feedback to make the correct decisions going forward.

If you want your taxes done in a timely manner DO NOT go to this location!!!!!!! My dad’s taxes are extremely simply. Anyone that knows what they’re doing could have knocked them out in 30 minutes. They’ve been working on them for days!!!!!!! Supposedly they FINALLY had them ready for dad to sign at 4 pm today. It’s 4:49 and we’re still around without an explanation! We will NEVER go to this location again.

Preparer had computer issues said due to new program couldn't get my information uploaded, went to scan documents (4) . Another Preparer had a Client sitting down and done and working on another by time mine came back from scanning documents(4) amount 130.00 popped up on screen was told that was base price before adding documents. When I said online read 89.00 was told that wasn't the price. I left

Safe, secure, fast and easy. I was looking for a place to file my taxes. This is it. She is the one. ⭐️ I have been using Lita Joseph for over 5 years. Thank God I have found her. She is amazing. My dad also is using her for her services and he is extremely picky and a hard person.

Came in early March in order to amend a couple of taxes and do back taxes for prior years and first time me to wait a couple of weeks despite me having a deadline to get them done..Came back a couple weeks later at the end of March and they took my W-2s and asked me to email my info they needed (1099-B and 1099-G) and promised me that they would do them.Came back on April 15 - Good Friday and asked to speak to Carol McHan, the woman who took my W-2s and never did my taxes, and I was told by some underling that I couldn't see Carol because she was "busy" (I doubt that) and was told to wait MORE and that I would get a call over the weekend. Never happened.Close on Monday the 18th and my W-2s were never returned. Have to call the Memorial branch. Memorial employees argue with me and refuse to even call me back or find a resolution.Extremely bad service between different locations. I do not recommend. They had a month and a half to get the job done and they failed and left me in the dark the entire time.

Not very happy with H&R block this year. I had an appointment booked, text message and email confirmed. Yet, the gentleman did not show up. The front desk was very apologetic, she even called the person but to no avail. After 20 minutes of waiting I had to leave and use a different method for my taxes. After I left I would've expected an text message, email, or phone call explaining the situation or something. I got nothing and its been five days since. I made special arrangements to go during the day and I got nothing in return. I am still, till this day, not happy with how I was disregarded. I do not like leaving bad reviews, but I have no other option since I did not get a follow up response from their office.

If you don't want to read my reviews, delete and H&R Block me? H&R Block is for me the standard tax service, I never give it more than 3 stars. Barbi and I have a couple of ventures and former jobs and what not that we still have to file for, and we are always shopping around for better tax services. We try to stay away from HRB but I make an exception for this location because they're great people and have good rates... multi-lingual and genuine and honest in our opinion. Across the street from my gym, you will find this next to Firehouse Subs which we go to from time to time, with excellent service, as well as a lot of other good businesses located in a string of five shops across from the main part of the strip mall, and the rent is good and there's plenty of parking in this Plaza, unlike the one across the street. Sadly there are businesses here that have closed up and shuttered and moved out, as well as some other stuff that clings to life and does just enough business to survive. It's important that you give them your business because so many have already packed up and gone.

The evaluator made several mistakes on our return. We had to go in and sit with her to correct her mistakes. I'm not 100% confident the return is correct still but we're so exasperated that we just filed. I wish I could have actually reviewed the work she did on the tax forms.

Didn't inform me of the outrageous cost upfront. Rather waited till over an hour was spent in their office and then informed me my situation was "different" and is way it was going to cost 230$ more than what was posted online and advertised outside. I had 2 single page documents only and no money owed or returned so this price was only their fee. Giving extra star because it was at least done correctly.

My husband and I had the absolute worst experience with our tax analyst Louis Martinez, first he filed my husband's taxes wrong because he did not pay attention to what my husband had told him, then when we had to amend it due to his own fault he tried to make us pay 500$ for him to fix his mistake, not only that, he left out information on the return and filed it again so we had to come back and amend it a second time, each time the amount we would get back on our returns changed so now we are unsure of what we will even get back. On top of that, he never once told us how long it would take after we had to amend it, it has been a month and we have gotten nothing, after doing some research we find out that it will take sixteen weeks for us to get our tax returns back. The analyst seems like he doesn't even know what he's doing, we have never had this problem before and it has left us so stressed and worried about our financial situation, we will never be using H&R Block again.
