If I could give them -0, that's what they deserve, we went to take my dog to the emergency room, and there was no one in the waiting room, I went at 11:30 am and the 3 who were talking, looking at each other's faces, did nothing They didn't even look at the dog. The window assistant told me that she could give me an appointment for another day. It's impressive not even wanting to look at and take care of the dog ???I don't recommend it, they are terrible...

I have been going to Houston Veterinary Hospital for a few years now. Most of my visits are routine for my dogs, but I have had a few emergencies which Dr. Miller and his staff "saved the day". Dr. Miller is very caring and explains anything I don't understand. I have recommended this clinic to others and I know they feel the same.

On September 7/24, I took my dog to HOUSTON VETERINARY HOSPITAL, 6730 Airline Drive Houston, Tx 77076 with ear pain, the veterinarian saw her and sent her medicine and they charged me for the full treatment, one of the employees came into the office and told us He gave 2 bottles of medicine, 14 pills 1/2 a day for 14 days, that is, there were only 7 pills (they made a mistake and gave us double the amount, but when he looked at them in front of us, he took 7 from us) and others. There were 14 pills of prednisone 10 MG Tablet $40.26 dollars, 1 daily for 14 days and they gave us the bottle and they never counted them in front of us, when we got home, we saw that the treatment did not come but half (7 pastes) we called do the claim and they told us that they were going to send them by mail, since they have not arrived I called and they told me that they tried to call me and the call did not come through, and they gave me an incorrect telephone number, but on the invoice my address is correct home, there is no excuse for not having sent it now they passed me to the girl who gave us the medicine and she says that they are not going to send me anything because they counted them but not in front of us and I was missing 7 pills which is half of the treatment but Yes, they charged 14 bucks and it's not fair that we paid in full and they gave us incomplete and the dog is not going to have the treatment except half. She is still so rude that she tells me not to call again and that they are not going to send me anything, how irresponsible and unethical, I am making this complaint because they want me to know what they did to us, I don't know if the vet is aware of this but It is very dishonest what this girl did.

you are all money hungry. This is very, very sad. my dog is in emergency status, yet you guys have the audacity to tell us we can make an “emergency”.
Your job is to help our pets, but in reality you just are interested in people’s money, all you want is Your clients money. I do not recommend this veterinary hospital.

I came here today so these people can check my sick dog and they refused to even look at him because they were all booked for today, we were the only people there. Not only that but they were very rude, so unprofessional. do not come here they do not care for your pets.

these people are utterly disgusting, because of them my dog may not make it. these people treated us like nothing. claiming their rooms were full, but there was nobody or anything to be heard or found. We’ve drove over an hour to get here, and all they said was that we could make an appointment, but this is an emergency and my pet might NOT make it a couple more days. these people have little to no human decency, You are all horrible people. If i could give you guys 0 stars i would.

I will never come back here again. I’ve taken my Rottweiler in the past and Dr. Miller was able to help us diagnose my baby’s tumor. We confirmed she had cancer and was able to take her to a cancer center for her treatment. After 6 months when she recovered from her cancer, my sweet girl passed away. I called Houston Veterinary Hospital on 5/28/24 Tuesday around noon for her cremation process. I spoke with Liz and told her, “My dog passed away, do you offer cremation services.” She said Yes. Explained the pricing. They didn’t even give options of the kind of urn she’d be in.. I had to ask if they did paw impressions or any other memorabilia things.. she just gave me the number for the company that did the cremation and to ask them. (She probably realized how blunt she was and called them to ask for me after I had already ended the call with them to already get the information.) I felt so annoyed and ended the call to have my final moments with my baby. I called them an hour later to ask if it was alright I bring her in.. Liz then went about saying the Doctor wasn’t available and to schedule an appointment. I was frustrated as she clearly didn’t even listen to me.. I told her again, my baby died and she’s going to decompose. She said, “Oh your dog already died, sorry I misunderstood. Yes, you can bring her then.” Unbelievable! When I brought her in.. they had lost power from the storm. It was unsettling to know their freezer was going to be without electricity. They said it’s still cold enough to keep her and they would have power later in the evening. I was broken and crying my eyes out. No one was remorseful except Dr. Miller who remembered Sky.. Before I left they told me since the power was down they can’t take payment for the cremation. I explained that my husband is taking an emergency flight back into town but won’t be back until they’re closed. I told them we’ll be back in the morning to say our last goodbye tomorrow in the morning and we can deal with it then. They said that’s fine. When I got home after everything was done, I wanted to mourn the loss of my baby. Liz calls me back to advise that they’ll actually be closed and won’t be able to let us say goodbye and if we can schedule it on Thursday?!! I tried explaining to her that I was leaving town the next morning on Wednesday in the afternoon.. this was the only chance for my husband and I can say goodbye to her together. She coldly said, “Yeah no we’re closed. No one will be here.” I asked her, “If there was any exception to have someone help us.. to be there to open the door for us to have 5 minutes to see her one last time together and I would pay out of pocket any amount to make this happen.” She just said, “Mm no, we can’t. But he can come on Thursday.” I was devastated as Sky was our baby together... And he’s rushing back on his flight trip to come home to wait entire day to say goodbye to our baby alone without me. This infuriated me that no matter the circumstances they couldn’t make any kind of accommodations. I told her “Okay. This is how it’s going to be.” And just cried. Liz called me back after an hour later.. had me thinking they were going to have some positive news of helping me.. She called to asked about PAYMENT DETAILS?! How we were going about it since I wasn’t going to be there but it would be my husband.. I was absolutely livid that she had the audacity to call me about this.. You’re so worried you’re not going to get your money?!! I ended the call to go get my baby’s body back to take her somewhere else!! My neighbor was able to find a better location that was willing to stay open and to let me bring her in for her cremation services.. she and I rushed back in time before they closed; as this wasn’t going to be the last way we were going to remember my baby! This place has no empathy, no one apologized to me for the loss of my baby (except Dr. Miller). The doctor was the only reason I considered this place and his staff LIZ needs an extensive training on how to be more empathetic for people who loss their family members!!!

Extremely supportive and caring staff. Dr. Miller did exceptionally well in treating my frenchies hematoma. He has great customer service, and whenever I had a concern at home after the surgery he found time to consult me. Also very affordable. These people at Houston veterinary hospital care and love animals. Highly recommended!!!
