This shop is awesome I went there the first time to buy new skates and Jackie helped me find exactly what I was looking for! So when I went back to get full gear Jackie was also there and was very patient and helped my get everything I needed and sized perfectly they have many options and im very grateful that this shop is in Houston I will definitely be going back !!!

Always very friendly and helpful! Helped outfit my kids with anything we need. No Ice near us in Galveston county so we play roller hockey, they have a decent roller hockey selection of sticks.

Not sure who attended us, never got his name but I went here with my parents. I wasn’t picky with the skates I was going to get, I couldn’t care less. I was hungry and wanted to leave but as the guy was watching me, he probably assumed I was being picky with my facial expressions being there trying on the skates and he was like “well you’re here with your parents so you can’t really get what you want, isn’t that how it works” and he proceeded to say “well when YOU get a job right…. You can buy your own skates of your preference.” And like… that was just out of line to say. I know a good salesman when I meet one because I know people who do that but that’s the equivalent of me saying “well when you get a better job, you can get paid better and get what you want.” Like as if it’s not obvious. Words to the wise, don’t ever say something like that to anyone especially if you don’t know the person nor the circumstances they’re in or their relationship with their parents. Left a bad taste in my mouth, won’t be back here. That’s the most dumbest thing you could ever say to someone especially if you don’t know them. ?? thank you for showing me where to not go for skates.

Excellent selection and service. Never expected a place like this in Houston but glad it's there. We got a new stick and some skates sharpened and everything went really well. Well be back.

I cant speak highly enough about this store and their staff. We came in for some new hockey gear as inevitability our young hockey player keeps growing. Jackie was so helpful and kind. She made sure we had the right skates before leaving. Even when I thought we were done, had baked and everything, when she sensed the skates were not perfect she brought out another pair that fit just right. Thank you Jackie for taking the time. Johnny was super helpful too and had our geared tuned up and sharpened and ready for the ice in no time flat. I totally recommend Houston Hockey and skate world for any hockey related needs. We will surely be back.

Went into Houston Hockey and Skate World to get sized for new skates. The rink I went to did a poor job and Houston Hockey couldn't have been more helpful. Jackie took the time to get me several different models to try on and made sure the ones I got were correct. She could tell by the look on my face when I put on the ones I ended up purchasing and got a smile. I had found my skates. Houston Hockey and Skate world will have a life long customer due to their great service and helpful nature. Thanks Y'all!

I came in here today to purchase new equipment and was well taken care of by the owner and their staff. I haven't played ice hockey in a while but the staff was very helpful to me and helped me find everything I needed. Their prices are very reasonable especially for new gear.

Dean and his staff are great. Highly recommend for all your hockey needs. If you need skates, don't make the mistake I made and buy online, go into the shop and have them get the right skate/fit. No pressure, they will do what's right.

Excellent and super friendly service! I was looking for figure skates, and the lady helped size my foot, I have a very wide one... I arrived at 6:40 but she was super patient with me, no rush. I got the best pairs of skates ever, I was skating in white leather old school ones before. this pair is black;) . I wore them a week after and they were perfect! Best skate shop in Houston for sure! Thank you do much!
