I’m giving 1 star because I feel they can definitely work on the phone skills. The few times I called I felt they were abrupt and a little rude. I was hung up on even before I could finish my question. So, at this point, I would not recommend just for that. Customer service is a must. Negocio no es muy bueno. Tienen que tener mas mejor comunicación con la gente.

Horrible, Deplorable, Indifferent Customer Service. A very small office in Houston Heights, with a approximate staff of 4-6? They pattern their customer service after “ Who’s On First” ! Example: you call into the office… even if you have been using them for years… THEY DO NOT RECOGNIZE YOU! THEN, If YOU CA LL BACK WITH A QUESTION OR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION… YOU’LL HAVE TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING ALL OVER TO ANOTHER REP. THEY DO NOT GIVE THEIR NAMES!!! So When you call back you don’t know who you were working with before. It’s like a game they play! They play dumb about what you are explaining. AND!!! If you get frustrated? They slam you on hold ( same as hanging up in your face!) and someone else picks up and asks, “ Can I Help You?” …..and you have to explain everything over again. NEVER EVER HAVE THESE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS HEARD THE WORDS, “ BEST PRACTICES IN BUSINESS” ever!!! I hope Consumer Affairs will offer, Houston Finance, new guidelines for doing business moving forward. signed~ native Houstonian

I've used Houston Finance for years when I need some fast cash. My father used them years before me. The process to apply is super easy and you get your money fast. Way better then a pay day loan. You can also borrow more money overtime as long as your payment history is good. Def recommend.

I had previously been denied by several personal loan companies. I began searching online and found Houston Finance. I submitted an application, I then received an email with details on the items needed. I replied with the various documents online. After that they sent me the contract, I signed it and received a starter loan the next day via direct deposit... Thank you Houston Finance!
