kk so im going to leave another review. i posted a very honest review a couple mos ago & sadly nothing has changed. my rvs have been damaged multi times, been lived in, & multi times the doors have been left open, due to being broken into, & i was never notified by staff. so jamal is the "new mgr" & sadly she is running the place into the ground as well. there has been zero upkeep on the facility in almost 2 years. no one had mowed the property, no one is securing the property, & there's a bunch of mexican men that break in, steal, obsessed w/the rvs, cars, & facility. ive found pots, dishes, & obvious items all over my rvs. no one is ever in office to address this & they disregard your complaints, experiences, & their horrible business practices. jamal takes everything personally, becomes unprofessional, aggressive, belittling, & nasty bc the company she chose to work for treats their clients HORRIBLY!! i had to speak w/ her district manager in another city to get the fees resolves only to still be locked outta the facility. ive been trying to reach her for 4 wks & she refuses to do her job, answer the phones, or respond to me in anyway. she is also pissed about the review i left so I'm leaving another one & will be adding the first review. its sad that a black woman is just as unprofessional as the racist white & mexican ladies that were in the office. idk whats going on but ive never had these issues w/any other storage facilities across the USS. Houston is notorious for having break ins, bad staff, unsecured properties, & horrible management on these sites. its a city if sharks where people just want to take advantage. she didnt respond to my review but she was belittling, arrogant, messy, catty, & rude to me over the phone. her 7-9 yrs in the business is irrelevant when u dont run the office properly & u cover for the previous mgrs that was there. why i am locked outta the gate still after my balance was corrected & we cant have access to move our things outta storage? DO NOT RENT HERE!! too many break ins, too much drama, & no one is ever there. they tell u to your face they dont care. the repairs come outta your pocket. ?. it sadly doesn't matter whose in office bc they all run it the same, into the ground. -1000 bc its been nothing but drama here.

Jamial was so polite and understanding ! Going through a lot and came in to rent me a unit and she made things all better! Reserves a unit online came to the property show me my unit! Was very nice and sweet! And was patient!

I am very pleased with the service I received from Jamail when renting a space for my RV. From the moment I walked into the office, she was quite pleasant to talk to and very professional. Her attitude and helpfulness was a pleasure to see. I watched Jamail multitask and handle multiple customers at the same time without panic. Thanks for having such a fantastic employee representing your company.

Visited MyPlace Self Storage today and was greeted by Jamial at the front desk. She was warm and professional and very informative. She discussed all the options that were available including the current promotions. Overall I had a great experience and I did end up getting a unit. I would rate my Overall experience 10/10

I rented a spot there for almost a year and took my camper out for a few months and canceled my spot. Made another reservation to put it back in storage. Zero customer service. They called me wanting to know when I would be there because they were going to leave early that day. They were very rude, and seemed extremely inconvenienced by having ti do their job and rent a spot to a customer. There’s 1000 other storage spots in the city. Go anywhere but this place. It is definitely not MyPlace, don’t let it be yours either!
