Very courteous staff. Despite our fillup at return, our car's electronic dashboard did not register a full tank of gas, and a seat belt light would not turn off. They made sure to mark our car as full and took notes without any problems. Very friendly shuttle drivers as well.

MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE EVER. BEWARE DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PEOPLE.
Left us without a car with an infant and eight year old. Left a note saying “shuttle will take us to our reservation” SHUTTLE NEVER SHOWED UP. Asked around and they were GONE for the day not caring about the reservation being paid.

Unprofessional employees. I had to yell so the person helping me could hear me because his coworkers were also yelling ten feet away to each other in a personal conversation. He had to tell them twice that they were too loud. I'm autistic and this was quite painful for me. I don't think that's enough for one star but everything else was wrong, too. Before I picked up my car I was accidentally charged four days instead of the two I reserved, but I called the customer service line and had it fixed. That isn't this location's fault but upon arriving to pick up my car the employee assured me everything was fixed after I told him what had already happened. Then I was immediately handed a receipt for four days, again! I didn't notice until I got to Santa Fe and the location I was supposed to return it to is permanently closed, and has been for at least THREE MONTHS, making me look at my receipt to make sure I had the address right. I had to take it to the Santa Fe airport which charged me a $60+ airport fee even though I didn't choose that location. Everything about this experience from start to finish was bad business.

Everything went well. First time as gold so had to go in. Was told to go to the gold area. We rented a standard suv and the only thing available were two compact suvs. Went back in and she told us we could go to the presidential section and it wouldn’t be more since they didn’t have what we reserved in gold. She even came out to make sure there was something there as we were unloading our luggage from the compact (we were going to try to keep that but was way too small). Told us there was a Durango at the end. Very friendly and helpful! Wish I got her name. Return was easy with no issues, and we were charged correctly.

I would not recommend renting from here worst experience! The "Lead" I did not get her name had terrible customer service skills was not accommodating at all and yells at her employee's for trying to help. ("P" was amazing and trying to help)

Hoping some additional people may chime in so we can band together for potential legal action against the negligence of this Hertz location.
I prebooked a rental car before my travel to Houston Hobby. At 8:30pm on the day of arrival, I received a “Carfirmation” email that my car would be waiting and ready.
Flight lands and I go to the rental car shuttle at 11:30pm (shortly after our flight landed) only to have the driver tell multiple of us with preexisting reservations that no cars are available. No explanation. They just kept repeating “No cars available. Come back at 7am.”
I ended up having to incur a $150 Uber to get to where I needed and would need to rack up over $300 in transportation costs just to get back to my rental.
At the time of discovering this, I tried calling Hertz Customer Service, Gold Member Service, and the location the shuttle was supposed to take us. All were “closed”.
I’ve been a loyal Hertz customer for almost a decade, but this experience was absurd.
UPDATE: Cookie cutter response from Hertz (as you can see below). I'm out over $300 due to their negligence and they can't bother to pick up the phone for a reasonable resolution. Their main customer service also claims that they don't have access to any phone numbers for management or locations.

Do not rent from Hertz. Not an honorable service. I left my Apple headphones in the car I rented. I immediately noticed and tried to reach out to them at the terminal. However nobody EVER answers their phones. I tracked them on my Apple “find my” and someone is holding them at the location at Hobby Houston airport. I have submitted multiple lost and found complaints and they keep emailing me saying the item is not found. However I have screenshots daily of it showing the location. I emailed customer care and they said they can’t do anything either. Clearly they are trying to steal my products so just know they are not trustworthy in that office. I was on a military trip out there so I don’t go out there much, and it’s ridiculous I can’t get ahold of anyone at the Houston location. I plan to write the better business bureau to let them know that , this specific location has theft issues. Be careful when renting from them

DO NOT RESPOND APOLOGIZING UNLESS YOU HAVE AN FIX FOR THIS PROBLEM! Your responses just to make yourself look good on here will not help my situation. Tell your personnel to answer their phones and stop stealing expensive products!!!!

I’ve been loyal to hertz for 30 years.
Be warned, even if you have a reservation, there is a chance you will NOT get a car, or you have to wait for one to be available. Last few months been painful to rent a car.

Hertz as a company can't handle problems at their facility making you call customer service somewhere else. They also didn't have the car I reserved when I arrived. They did upgrade the car

Anna from Hertz rental went above and beyond to help me when my grandfather's watch got stuck in the center console of my rental vehicle. She even sacrificed her back scratcher and enlisted every employee she possibly could so that I could get my watch. I thought that they would have to ship my watch back to me, but before the courtesy van departed Anna ran to us watch in hand. Customer service was above and beyond and made me forget the dilemma. Thank you Anna, you definitely are a great example for your company.

No one answers the phone, it just cuts off after ringing 4-5 times. Also, called at 1015pm when my flight got delayed, only to get a message that said they were closed. But they are supposed to be open until 1230am. Website/app doesn't work. If your reservation name and license name don't match, it won't let you check in. Customer service is a long wait for nothing. I like Hertz, but dealing with this rental was very difficult.

The return was simple,and in little time,shuttles are always available,drivers help you with the heavy luggages.

Terrible customer service - went there after a car accident and the agent did not explain anything - we denied the extra services and her charged us still - tried calling no one answers the phone - called hertz corp stayed on hold for over an hr only to be told I have to go back to the location in order to get a refund (location is very far from my house)
