Crazy experience. Made a reservation last night which was confirmed. This morning at the actual rental place they tell me they have no cars left in the most nonchalant manner. Absolutely no help just “yea sorry, we have no cars”.They claim they called me this morning (so still last minute) but to cancel but even after confirming my number with the lady at the counter there was no missed calls. Truly bizarre and the staff seemed to not care and offered no help.

Worst customer service in the world , especially the lady working there , they never have cars also but again it’s all about the customer service and I think they had nice cars and lied about having any

A yucky and bizarre rental experience! I was waiting my turn to pick up my rental, and in came a gentleman customer to pick up his rental too. The staff (Mark James and Karen Brown) would not honor his confirmed reservation made weeks earlier because (it became clear later while they were rudely and deceptively arguing with the customer and lying their way through) he had reserved his rental at a bargain price. First, they told him they didn’t have his vehicle, and when he said that’s fine and he would take any car they have, repeating that even a smaller downgraded one is fine, they still refused and continued to be argumentative with him. They wanted him to make a new reservation for another, more expensive, car. The man left empty handed and clearly disappointed. That was shameful and dishonorable enough on the part of the Hertz staff, both at a professional and personal levels, but what’s even more yucky is they bad-mouthed him in front of me after he left, when it was clear they were the ones who behaved unprofessionally and refused to honor the reservation — their own company’s reservation! Their inconsistent statements made it clear they lied to the hapless customer. It felt like I was watching a scene from the movie Mean Girls. Mark was a meaner “girl” than Karen; he taunted the customer in a sassy, juvenile, low-class manner. I wouldn’t keep such a liability, unprofessional employee with low integrity in my own business. I felt dirty for both staff members. Instead of providing ethical customer service, they actually seemed satisfied and pleased to provide customer abuse. That mistreated customer could have been my brother or father or me. Adult supervision is badly needed in that office. That was a yucky experience unworthy of any half respectable business. As I was leaving with my rental car, Mark had the nerve and indignity to beg me for a good review! Yeah, sure, here it is.

Ricky and Kenyatta was amazing! They made crazy weekend better. They have great customer service, professional and very very knowledgeable! Will only come to them only for rental service

Don’t waist your time with this place. The owner is an irresponsible and unhelpful individual. They never have cars available and they are rude. Hertz brand is hurt by allowing poorly managed franchises like this one to continue open.

I am a Presidents Circle member and this review is specifically for the customer service I was given by Rick! He helped me and simultaneously promised to extend himself to help another customer do something the other employees seemed unable or unwilling to do.I mistakenly, put the wrong date on my rental but Rick was able to get me into a car within 10 minutes. PRIOR TO THIS, I was speaking with another employee (young lady) who assured me they had no cars and she couldn’t even help me rent one at another Hertz location.Rick showed excellent customer service not only to me BUT to another customer. We both would have been turned away (as I have been before at this location) by the other two employees present had Rick not stepped in.

I was an hour late to pick up my rental so my only option was to rent something twice the price. The representative was flip and difficult. I rent roughly once a month and Hertz has been my go to. Not any more.

This is the best Hertz in Houston. Ricky helped me get a rental I needed for work.He was Profesional and courteous. This guy should be in charge of Customer Service Development for Hertz around the country.

Next time when I book a car rental through UBER I will check the reviews first. No wonder this location sux the black guy answered and hung up on me and they never answered againStay away from this GHETTO OFF BRAND LOW BUGET LOCATION AND HOUSTON SUX. IM NOT SURPRISED THIS COURTYARD MARRIOTT IS GHETTO TOO THIS IS NOT A NICE AREA LIKE IT USED TO BE OVER 30 YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS A STUDENT IN RIVER OAKS.STAY FAR AWAY FROM THE GHETTO MENTALITY THEY NEVER WIN...UBER OR HERTZ BETTER NOT TRY TO PUT A CANCELLATION FEE ON ME THEY CALLED ME THE NEXT DAY TO TELL ME THEY HAVE NO CARS SO UPDATE THAT WITH UBER YOU SCUMBAGS

Horrible customer service. Just left to get pricing on a rental car and the lady that’s in there today February 2 at 2:30 PM. Very rude. Very unprofessional. I’m not understanding why an attitude was needed to tell me there’s no rentals available. She seems very unhappy with her job. That’s definitely not the person that should be representing Hertz. I definitely see why the reviews are so low at this location. You all definitely need to reevaluate your employees.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE 10 minutes before I’m picking up the car someone calls to tell us the car we reserved is only available as an electric car. I was showing up late to work to pick up this car. Wouldn’t even give me the courtesy to upgrade the vehicle they wanted me to pay for it. I ended up cancelling the reservation. Was not trusting them with rebooking.
