I've used this place many times and never had issues up until the last couple times. I rented a car from them for almost 2 weeks. When I returned my car the guy that works the counter told me there was dog hair in the car. I asked him to show me because my dog had never been in the car and he pointed out a few hairs in the front seat that transfered from my clothes to the driver seat. It took me all of 1 second to wipe it off, yet they insisted on creating an issue with their customer over a few pieces of dog hair. I had the manager come out so I can show her what this guy was making a fuss about and he had the audacity to hold up a SINGLE piece of dog hair as his complaint and she pointed to a SINGLE piece of dog hair on the door well. They threaten to charge a $450 EXCESSIVE cleaning fee over this! I dont think they know what excessive means. If you have fur babies, even if they never get in the car, be aware they threaten these fees. I could understand if it had a lot of pet hair in there, but this is crazy! I guess they don't vacuum out cars before they rent them out again! Pictures for proof! I took these while they stood with me while I fummed over this!

1 star not necessarily for the service but for this location’s practices. I rented a vehicle, (suppliers choice) to drive from New Orleans back to Houston. This Hertz site in particular doesn’t have after hours drop off which is super inconvenient. I don’t even think I’ve ever had to deal with any other rental company that does that. Super inconvenient. I tried to drop the car off before work, but because the gates were locked couldn’t even get inside. So then by default I was stuck having to pay the late fees. Even when I tried to call customer service to explain the situation or move to a different drop off location no one answered after I was on hold for over an hour. I wouldn’t recommend using Hertz.

This location didn't come pick me up luckily the other location was picking someone else up and able to transfer me. This location did not help.

Unfriendly and incompetent staff. Dirty cars. Depressing location. Was billed in error and the manager herself was no help.
If you can avoid going here, do yourself a favor and do so, it would be more enjoyable to speak to a wall than to interact with the team at this location or this company in general.

Amazing experience.
We went to a different Hertz location and had a bad experience. We got here on a Saturday afternoon, explained the issue and Antriel was stellar!!!
Antriel was helping multiple clients, making sure we all understood the process and what was happened next.

Amazing service at this location especially from Antriel who took their time to listen to what car we wanted, what was available and how long it would take.
We initially stopped by another hertz nearby and the service there was nothing compared to the W loop location.
For great service, good cars, amazing customer service and good people to help - please come here.

Do there guys really care???
I booked a car and got there in my lunch break to get it. Of course, the failed big time. They said that the person "in charge" was not there and he was the only person that could get me the car (Friday at noon and such person is not there???). I booked the car online, so you may think it is all set, right??? But with this company and that location, be ready to get out of there empty-handed.
Horrible!!! They should all be ashamed!!!

DO NOT RENT HERE if you need a for sure vehicle!! They don’t have adequate vehicles in stock to guarantee your reservation. They will pass the buck and put the responsibility on the customer to find a car instead of searching for one for you. Terrible customer service. Called several times leading up to my pick up but was told ever day I called there wasn’t a vehicle available because customers don’t return them!! Add more cars to your fleet people!!

Stay away!! Worst rental car experience ever. Wasted money on taking an uber here, reserved vehicle wasn’t available and they didn’t offer any solution or have any alternative vehicles ready. The staff was extremely rude about the whole situation.

They take debit card here with a 24 advance notice reservations. They will place an additional reimbursable hold on a few hundred $$$ of your funds to cover themselves, but overall nice people who try to get you in a car if you’re just now rebuilding your credit and don’t have a high limit card and all you have is debit card. Thanks Hertz!

Why WASTE people time saying a car is PRESENT at the facility when it's already been taken!!!! Booked a reservation with confirmation number for a Tesla only for the front desk to say they don't have ANY. Misleading! frustrated as I had to take a uber 30 minutes from my house. I honestly think this is a HERTZ problem as well. Book with another car rental, because this is UNORGANIZED!!!!!

Horrible customer service! They were rude! Car interior was filthy and they claimed it was clean. Had to return the car.. don't go here.
