They get you by offering you 6 weeks free to get you in the door. Once you're there the avoid the 6 weeks free and sign you up for a membership. They tell you that for a curtain price you get the gym and a personal trainer. Their idea of a personal trainer is group exercises classes for 500.99 a mouth. Which isn't explained in the beginning. When asked about the one on one training they tell youit's another 400 on top of the 500. You can go to 24 Hour Fitness and get their highest package for 300 a year. Then I stopped going here months ago and they are still charging me and refuse to return my phone call. This is just another example of a business trying to get rich my lying and stealing from the community they open up in and clam to serve.

Never have I experienced such inhumane treatment!!!!Pray you never get in a car accident and aren't helpless in a wheelchair bc if you do they will NOT help you with pausing/temporarily suspending your account, then they try to make you feel as if they care or at fault!!! bottom line was"We need a doctors note or pay what you owe"Not understanding whatsoever!!!

Extremely false advertising. $1,000 deposit on a free program is a joke. They persuade you to come to the gym for six weeks free training course. They say they’re going to help you with a meal plan and of course getting your body right. They brought me up for consultation after checking my body, weight, and height. They were asking a lot of questions I guess trying to get an understanding of where my mindset was and how training there would be beneficial. Then they proceeded to ask me for $1000 as a deposit on something that supposed to be free I could have been interested in training in the gym continuously if I would’ve seen the benefits of going to a gym like this. And all honesty asking somebody for $1000 after just telling them that it was going to be free during all of these conversations you had on the phone and text message interaction promised the a bag that they were getting ready to be able to get to you asked if you want pink or black, but got nothing , it seems like a scam to me.

Extremely predatory. They lured me in with deceptive marketing tactics and degraded me to make me feel like I needed to buck up and pay anyway. Then when I said I couldn't afford it right now and the timing wasn't good but I'd come back they said that's okay take this interest free loan and just pay it off it won't grow at all don't worry. It in fact tripled and now I'm on the hook for nearly $3000 dollars, received nothing from them that I wasn't already getting from a $30/mo 24 hour fitness membership and the classes, so called "24 hour support" and nutrition tips are less helpful than what I've since received from a free mobile app(which is to say is barely anything at all as the mobile app is doing next to nothing for me). In summation, do not let these people disrespect and then rob you. Keep your money and your dignity, there are far better places with your actual well being in mind.

My experience at Hero Performance Gym was disappointing, as their marketing tactics are deceptive. The Instagram ads promised free training with claims of limited spots, creating a false sense of urgency. However, upon visiting, they avoided discussing the advertised program unless I initiated the conversation. The discrepancy between the enticing ads and the lack of transparency during my visit left me feeling misled.During my interaction, Emily engaged in circular discussions about the "application" process, purportedly aligning goals with the gym's objectives. However, the actual focus was on proposing a substantial sum for a 6-month program. While I recognize the investment aspect of achieving fitness goals, it contradicted the initial emphasis on the promoted free training in their advertisements. The disconnect between the advertised offer and the subsequent high-cost proposal raised concerns about transparency and consistency. In addition to the misleading advertisement, Emily conveyed a perplexing requirement—requesting a $1,000 deposit. The condition was to achieve a specific goal within a few weeks, and the refund of the deposit hinged on meeting this target. This seemingly unreasonable demand further contributed to the overall sense of incredulity. The combination of these factors solidified my decision to distance myself from Hero Performance Gym, as the terms presented appeared impractical and ultimately dissuaded me from pursuing any further engagement with their services.Despite the gym's apparent cleanliness and potential, the experience left me disillusioned. The misleading marketing strategy and the subsequent veering away from the initially promoted free training towards a costly program undermined the trust I had in the gym. Unfortunately, their lack of honesty ultimately deterred me from considering them as a potential member.

The gym was very nice and very clean everyone is very friendly I saw a add on Instagram gave the gym a try but little did I know Emily did me dirty she signed me up for a 1,500$ loan. She scrolled on that tablet and told me there was no need for me to read because she is explaining everything to me and knows I’m ready and believes in me. As a young learning adult I was too confident. She assured me it was only a membership there for all I had to do was sign and it would be 73$ a month soon I found out I should have read because I am stuck paying this off now. It saddens me that they would take advantage of a 18yr old like this and yes it’s my fault for not reading but I was just ready to get in the gym and they make it seem like they are there to help you and not just for your money i have not returned since i found out it was a loan because I just don’t understand y I was done this way but lesson learned read before u sign.
