Stopped by Menchies today and noticed these signs were up. Now if you want to go to Menchies or Colinas or Penzeys we have to pay for parking??!! This is ridiculous......

It’s disappointing that after 15 years of regularly visiting different businesses here I’ll now have to pay for parking if I spend 5 minutes dropping off a package or choose to have lunch at Thai Spice or Collina’s. 19th street has been just fine without paid parking. Why ruin a good thing?

In the last week they’ve added paid parking for all parking lot spots. Doesn’t matter which business you're visiting. Use street parking.

They have added paid parking, which is ridiculous as a strip center. This decision will only hurt the restaurant tenants such as Collina’s. Terrible decision.

I will continue to visit these shops and shop owners because these businesses matter to the Heights. But it's a crime what the landlords are doing to try and force the businesses out of their leases. Replacing all the Heights shops with high rises will just make it a bunch of high rises with no businesses to walk to.
