I usually post reviews when I am happy and very infrequently when I am disappointed. However this time I have to share my thoughts as I am deeply disappointed in the Hampton Inn brand. I have stayed at over 100 Hampton Inn properties and I am generally very happy with the quality of the property. This one is by far the worst maintained HI properties. It's dated, old and not properly maintained. I could have lived with that but charging $25 per night parking fee and $4.95/ day wifi fee for Gold Members is downright ridiculous. This is a suburban 2.5 star property at best. Offer some value to customers to balance out your short comings. To make matters worse, I had to go back multiple times to the front desk as the room key wouldn't work. They kept on telling me don't keep the room key by your phone which I don't. I visit over 50 hotels annually. Most business travelers know this already. Bottom line, book with right expectations maybe I set my expectations too high for a Hampton Inn brand.

Please be advised that when I arrived at the Hampton in the Galleria area, Mr. Emmanuel assists with my check-in and displaying unbelievable professionalism and courtesy.Earlier that early afternoon. I called a Hampton Inn and Mr. Emmanuel answered the phone and assured me that my reservation was safe and secure. He also assured me to drive safe and will be delighted to help me when I arrive. Therefore, Emmanuel is an asset And I look forward to staying at this in the near future.

The dirtiest Hampton Inn I've ever stayed in. Blood on the pillow cases, mud on the floors, and sticky handprints on the remote. Luckily, I always bring my own sheets, because hotels are notorious for NEVER changing the sheets in-between guests. I had to disinfect everything with alcohol, including the remote control, doorknobs and everything else!

The hotel is in a great location and clean, and the breakfast is ok. The receptionist at the Front Desk, Emmanuel, was very attentive and helpful.Overall, it was an excellent stay for the price paid.!

A much depleted hotel from a year ago. Breakfast poor. They charge for parking and they give some poor excuse saying it's because I booked through a third party nonsense. I will not recommend here and will stay elsewhere next time. Even the staff seems untrained.

Made a reservation for a king size bed , walk in shower . Paid for two nights in advance . Get there and they check me in , we walk into the room and it’s two double beds. Go back down stairs that’s when they inform me they didn’t have anymore kings . In reality she should have told us as soon as we were checking In but trying to hide it . Told them to cancel our reservation went somewhere else . Have to call during the day to get our money refunded. Also what they don’t tell you until you show up is they charge 25$ a night for parking . Yeah no thanks .

As a female traveling solo, Emmanuel brought ease to my decision to stay at this location. Typically, I stay in Doubletrees or higher end Hiltons, however, due to availability and schedule, my stay included this destination. He was very kind and ensure the location is safe and if I have any concerns, he would be able to assist. Customer service goes a long way in today’s world.

I’m very disappointed with my stay I’m very surprised as well because I’ve stayed in the Hamptons for over a decade and never had an issue… the pool had way too much bleach I couldn’t see for a good hour my eyes got extremely itchy and it just hurt to see. When I asked if the pool was open the phone had very bad connection so when I asked again I got attitude. There was a huge yellow stain on the bed, and at night the sheets had came off the mattress and i felt very itchy at night. We paid extra money to stay expecting it to be a great experience but it really was not this hotel needs a lot of work.

Just flat out Awesome service!! I was having an exhausting evening due to traveling. I recently enjoyed my stay at another hampton inn location earlier that day. I decided before I wrap my vacation up to check another location out closer to the Galleria area & I was not disappointed! In fact, front desk attendant Chandrell made my check in very smooth and I have digital key access on my phone(which is so helpful because i lose cards easily). Then front desk Associate Emmanuel saw I was a hilton honors member and friends and family member and offered me a food list for nearby restaurants!! I am thoroughly impressed with this team and the rest of hampton Inn- hilton branches thus far. Thanks!!!

We are loyal Hilton Honors members and this was by far the worst hotel we've stayed at. Everything was dirty and dingy and worn out. The paint in our room was peeling, as was the wallpaper in the bathrooms. The breakfast area had ripped cushions and fluff coming out of the dining chairs. Walls in the hallways were dirty, scratched, and nicked. We found a spot of blood on our comforter upon check in and hair on our sheets. Beds were uncomfortable.I requested a room clean every day instead of every other (their standard schedule) and was told that they check doors at 6am and if we have a Do Not Disturb sign on, our room won't be scheduled for a clean that day. Ridiculous policy! Will not be staying at another Hilton for a while.

Hotel needs a MAJOR MAJOR upgrade! The place is worn and tired. Probably the most outdated hotel I’ve stayed in in a long time! Hallways are dark and dingy, doors peeling, elevators dirty and scratched, room was clean it was outdated. Bed is super uncomfortable and the pillows were terrible. The bathroom was so dark and outdated. The door wouldn’t stay closed, the water pressure sucked and was loud. The wallpaper was wet/peeling. AC was very loud. Took forever for water to get hot. Place was great for a 1 night stay but I’d never stay here again.

*********Roach Infestation**********I recently had a very disappointing experience at the Hampton Inn that I feel compelled to share. I encountered a severe roach infestation during my stay, which was incredibly distressing. When I woke up around 4 am and turned on the lights, roaches were crawling everywhere, causing me great discomfort and concern for my health.I immediately contacted the front desk for assistance, hoping for a prompt resolution. Unfortunately, I was met with disappointment as they informed me that pest control would arrive at 8 am. However, despite their assurance, nobody came to spray or address the issue, nor did they offer any refund for the inconvenience caused.I had initially planned to extend my stay but after this incident, I couldn't bear the thought of spending another night in such conditions. Before writing this review, I reached out to the management via email, giving them the opportunity to rectify the situation or provide compensation for the distress caused. To my dismay, they offered me a mere $20, which I found to be insulting and completely inadequate. To further emphasize the seriousness of the matter, I involved my credit card traveling department in the communication. However, they too were offered the same unsatisfactory compensation of $20. It became evident that the management's lack of concern for their guests' well-being was not an isolated incident, as the front desk clerk confirmed the hotel's ongoing struggle with a roach problem. In an attempt to address the issue directly, I went downstairs to speak with the management. However, instead of offering understanding and support, the manager responded in a confrontational manner, raising her voice as if I was to blame. This interaction only further reinforced the lack of care and disregard for the health and satisfaction of their guests.I strongly advise against staying at the Hampton Inn due to the roach infestation and the hotel's inadequate response to the situation. It is evident that the management prioritizes profit over the well-being of their guests. I encourage potential guests to consider other accommodations that prioritize cleanliness, customer service, and the overall satisfaction of their patrons.

Rooms: Such a noisy AC unit in the room that makes it impossible to sleep. When the hotel is sold it says walk in shower room. In reality there is a bathtub old as grandma. It is not 1950 on the calendar. Why would you think that your clients are not worthy to have better experience? Why would you lie about things when giving descriptions?Noteworthy details: The expectations would be met if it was some mom and pop motel on the side of the road.

Glows: Location Location. The gentleman who checked me in was very nice and professional.Things to know: They charge for parking at $25 nightly. The hotel is a standard hotel. This is not a convention or resort hotel. They do offer free breakfast. I did not partake in it, so I can't speak to the quality or taste. I did have to wait a while for the water to get hot and the pressure was a little low. Housekeeping definitely come in to each room and straightens up each day. For the locations, the price was ok. I paid the conference rate as I was there for the Texas Transition Conference.Overall I would stay here again for the location and price if I didn't have a choice. There are so many hotels in this area.Nearby activities: Galleria Shopping CenterFood & drinks: Free Breakfast
