She has taken my hair from dark brown to platinum blonde (respect the process it takes time) to every color in between. Shayna has been my go-to for years since I first saw her when I needed to correct a haircut and update my color. She listens to what I'm after (and translates it when I don't describe it in proper hairstyling terms), explains exactly what will or won't work based on what I'm asking for her to do, and then let's me decide what I want to do from there. She doesn't pressure me to make a decision one way or another and she never makes a decision on my color, treatment, or haircut without my approval (you think this would go without saying, but sadly yes, this has happened at other places I've been to before...).She sets reasonable expectations of how long it may take to get my hair from brunette to blonde, and of course when I change my mind and I want it back to brunette. My hair's health is her priority.And, as an added bonus to being extremely talented, she's super funny and an absolute blast to be around!
