Straight charity scam!White collar, blue collar, every collar criminals!This is the biggest right in our face scam that public officials, the DA, and Attorney General chooses to not talk about this or investigate since Enron!They do not give homes away for free as they portray too.They use donated funds and materials to build homes and sell them to the public at market value not to low income families in need.They have used the homes that they built as collateral to secure million dollar loans and do not make the home owner aware of the liens that on their homes.They create falsified financial records to cover up their intent to commit fraud, leaving their customers homeless.They build home that are unsafe to live in and make the low income home owners pay for repairs.They collect donations, gifts and use the money to hire high powered corrupt lawyers, file fraudulent law suites against their program members, file Illegal foreclosures and steal the equity out of the homes that they built for low income families, leaving the families homeless and in a worse potion they were in before they started in this program!

I have been so disappointed with this store customer service: is practically zero ! I find beautiful console table and was ready to purchase it, but they have no delivery option to the second of third lever if you happens to live in apartment . So they tell me I have option to purchase the table and take with me in the street !!!! Because they do not hold item even for minute!!!! Guys ? Who want go there and have no time to hold on item you just purchase ? How rude that is ? How rude they are to people who trying to help? How rude to manager of that store to create that rules and office manage is so unprofessional ! I will not going reconnect that place. All over they price not fair!

I have been in this store several time over the last year and noticed that the prices were ridiculously high for second hand stuff. There was only a few people shopping both times we were there. If they want sales/ shoppers, then they need to LOWER their prices. Go check out the HOPE Chest at 290 & Barker to get a better idea of what things should be priced at. They are always packed and people are always buying stuff. They get the stuff for free (donations) and know how to price the items accordingly to move inventory. I think Habitat thinks they are competing with Lowe's and Home Depot stores. Get real people, you get the stuff for FREE, your prices should be 75-80 % and lower off retail. WHO THE HECK IS IN CHARGE OF SETTING PRICES? In case you haven't noticed, your store is slowly going out of business . Get a real manager.

Prices are a little elevated especially for alot of beat up items that should be in the trash can. Sorry, but I have seen alot of items for weeks that just don't sell that proves they're over priced.

This company is a SCAM and there is NOTHING Christian about them! They are NOT for Humanity but for themselves and their own greed! The first time homebuyers program is a joke and they only seek donations to satisfy their pockets and parties! They have done nothing for Humanity but oppress the partner families that they were entrusted to help. They should be ashamed of themselves! The owner is a crook and a con artist! She uses donations money to file frivolous lawsuits against low income homeowners and with the the intent to take their homes only so she can resell them to the public for three times the original cost to build! Do not support this company the donations given are not being used to help but to hinder and opress!! This company has foreclosed on partner families homes for less than $40.00 and left them homeless with ruined credit! These are demonic people the only thing that they WORSHIP is MONEY!

Excellent selection of new and used home construction supplies and various home goods. Decent prices but some of the inventory is outdated or damaged. Great option for flippers or DIY enthusiasts!Of the rehome store in Houston, this is definitely the best location for selection!!Everything from paint brushes to kitchen sinks, this place has it.
