I made an appointment last week for noon. Someone called to confirm, and I received several text messages confirming. I showed up at 11:45 to a sign that said that the office was out to lunch and would be back at 12:30. I called another local office, whose number was posted on the sign, and the employee there explained that the office is short staffed and the employee at our location must’ve taken lunch, so we’d just have to come back at 12:30. I explained I had an appointment for a week and this should be something the employee at our location could see on a calendar. I said they should’ve taken lunch later or earlier, but our appointment for noon was on the books for over a week. She said she was sorry but there was nothing she could do. First experience with this company and it was horribly unprofessional. Reconsidering my use of their services. If you can’t keep an appointment calendar for the office, how are you supposed to be responsible for filing taxes? No thank you.

Despite making an appointment weeks in advance, confirming the appointment, and arriving ten minutes early, these unprofessional tax preparers will tell you to “just wait”That’s not acceptable. When you make an appointment, you keep it. Avoid this location at all costs, if they are this loose with their client interactions, how hard are they really working to optimize your taxes?
