Ok. Big store. Some good things. Not really my speed but I do check it out when I'm in town. A friend said some locations are better than others.

I deeply dislike that the seafood department weighs salmon prior to removing the skin. Why TF ARE you charging me for something I'm not taking home. That's the beauty of selecting your salmon, getting the cut you want, the skin off and paying for what you get. Did you know weighing salmon with the skin on versus the SKIN OFF is a $2 or MORE difference for something YOU'RE NOT BUYING, NOT EATING , NOT TAKING HOME, NOT LEAVING THE STORE WITH. Who made up this crazy rule. Try charging the customers exactly what they leaving with, and not what you're putting in the trash when they leave.

Worst customer relations of any HEB I've been to. Zac is demeaning and abusive to customers, especially senior ladies. Business center workers are the worst, they stand there and do nothing or are in their phone texting while there's a line of customers waiting, an older white women employee actually told the customers waiting..."it's less than a minute til we open at 10am." It was after 10 am...she should've opened and helped the customers waiting. The ailes are blocked with stacks of product at ALL HOURS when other HEBs stock over night or early morning..not this store. The woman manager won't work on the weekend...when she's needed. May be why the employees act like they have no respect for their jobs or customers, and little or no respect for the store manager.

Warning: if you want an immunization, be forewarned that this Heb pharmacy allows Techs to administer shots, and Not pharmacists! Do it at your own risk. Heb Bunker Hill location does the same.

Some HEB locations give me the HEB-y Jeebies. This is not one of those, it's pretty huge and nondescript really. I've shopped at this HEB in Katy on a number of occasions and it's huge and has everything you could imagine. It's a little suspicious, as in there always seem to be managers watching to make sure nobody's taking anything, which is very un-Katy since it's quite a chill suburb with a lot of bougie people, and which is not very similar to some inner city Houston HEB locations I've been to which are less like that. But it's still cool to have it here and it's massive and they usually have everything that you need. And I appreciate those things. HEB's products are significantly better than any other grocery store in Texas, I'd say. Hence the extra star despite what I described previously.

This is my 2nd time ordering. I was disappointed again. I asked for chocolate and vanilla (half and half)I was told it's possible. but only got vanilla. Half of my guest didn't even eat the cake because they wanted chocolate. Maria took our order, quote us price of the cake when I went to pick up price was more. I was told Thts what I have to pay. Very disappointed and will consider not to choose HEB cakes for my parties anymore.

H‑E‑B does not show items that are out of stock when ordering online for delivery. You can order and pay for items only to find out after the fact that items you've ordered are out of stock. Every other store that delivers shows items that are out of stock thereby saving you the time and effort of erroneously ordering items that are out of stock.

The technician that came up to the window asked me for my name my birthdate and then asked me when she saw my medication she said with an attitude "do you know how much it is?" I said "No, tell me how much it is." She said "$289" I said "I have a discount card" She said "that's with your card." I explain to her that the card that is on file is one that H-E-B automatically put on my account that is called lone star something or other. I asked her if she could check with the good RX card that I had with me. She said again "that's with the card" I told her "this is a different card, I need you to check with this card" she took a while and when she came back she said "it's the same price this is name brand" obviously my flovent inhaler is the name Brand that's why it's expensive because there is no generic. I don't appreciate being treated as if I can't afford something when obviously in the past I forked over the money for it . If you look at my prescription history you'll see how much I spent on medications. I feel that the pharmacy technician is not happy with her job and didn't even bother to try to use the discount card. I pulled out my phone where it showed the price should be $262.98-$277.22. I showed it to her and she mumbled something and said it's still the same price. I don't appreciate being given an attitude when obviously I need my inhaler to breathe. I told her I was not paying for that and I left I am now transferring my prescription to another pharmacy where hopefully the pharmacy technicians have a positive attitude and don't treat someone as if they can't afford medication. This is the first time I have dealt with her the other techs are always nice to me. My inhaler cost over $200 and I have always paid for my medication so if I show a discount card the least the technician can do is put in the card and give me the measly discount. I didn't beg for a free hand out, I work hard for my money. I made sure to email corporate.

Says it’s open 24 hours but they’ve had cones in front of the entrance by 7pm the last few times I tried to use my code.

I have a problem with prices not matching at check out. This happens all the time and I'm constantly having to check my receipt before I leave the store. Prices have gone up enough without being cheated by this store. This has happened to me two weeks in a row, A bag of apples rang up a dollar more than what the sign said. I brought it to the attention of the store manager on duty. She said okay sorry. Went to a cashier and got a dollar. And with a smirk on her face handed it to me by holding it between two fingers like she was smoking a cigarette. I did not appreciate her attitude. However, I said thank you and moved on. But, I just went back this week to get another bag of those Kidz Pick apples because they are really good. And to my surprise once again they rang up a dollar more. AGAIN. Luckily I caught it at the register and the cashier was able to correct it. So my question is this. When I let a store manager know about an issue and they don't even care enough to fix it. Then who do I go to? Because I find price discrepancies all the time when I shop at the Fry Rd. store. This is just the first time I'm leaving a review, because I'm sick of it. Lost money adds up. Having managers who don't care is not good business practice HEB. DO BETTER!

Doesn’t clean anything. In fact it make it even worse. If you spit on your car it would be cleaner than this. Waste of money

I'm surprised this HEB isn't rated higher. Pre-pandemic this store was always super crowded, so I didn't enjoy shopping there. Since the pandemic I've only used their curbside pickup. It has been wonderful. Every now and then they mess up an order or do some crazy substitution. However they are quick to recognize mistakes and take steps to fix them. Curbside employees are courteous and prompt. The shopping app is well stocked so I usually find what I need. I shop there 2-3 times per week and has always been a pleasant experience. Curbside works so well that I haven't had to ho into the store in over a year. The pharmacy does a decent job also, no complaints yet. Prices are better than their competition, so what's not to like?
