“Lone Star Defense and Arms is the best little gun shop in Texas! Owned and operated by David and Amy, they are there every day and ready to help. They give great advice on all things gun related. Their prices are fair, and they are very honest. No hidden fees or “tack on” fees that so many other places like to surprise you with at check out. What you see is what you get – no surprises, and no shady tactics to squeeze another nickel out of you. Their in-store inventory is good, but their online inventory is massive. Anything you buy from their online store comes quickly with no shipping or FFL transfer fees; it is just like you bought it in the store.
Where they really shine is with services. From FFL to tax stamps and other more complicated transfers they have a plan and advice for everything, and their recommendations always make it easier. I have learned if you just explain what you want/need, they figure out the most efficient, legal, fair, safe, and painless way to get it done.
When doing a deal, you get a lot in writing from them, pay attention and read it to make your life easier. Otherwise, you may miss steps or forget things and end up wasting your own time (like I have).
This is the “go-to” gun store in Houston.”

“I called Texian Firearms and Justin answered. I was traveling , so I didn't have a lot of time to talk and the connection was off and on. I had been searching for a Beretta PX4 Storm Compact for a couple of months. Everywhere I went it was out of stock. The staff, especially Joseph, could not have been nicer or more accommodating, letting my kids hold multiple guns we obviously had no intention of buying. Joseph also gave all three of us a little tutorial in holding/handling firearms and showed us around the store and the different options available for rental in the range.
