Lack of training, DO NOT WORK HERE! THEY ARE STEALING MY MONEY.Left this job after a week, they do not train you at all they just throw you in a classroom and expect you to be able to take it over, I was told constantly that I would be trained and went over with the curriculum throughout the week and each day something of course was more important. The head of the curriculum coordinator is the niece of the director, so there is some movement and established trust in the first place. As for the children, some are great kids but some have serious behavior issues that need to be addressed, but no help from staff at ALL.

*DO NOT WORK HERE* GKA is not the best place you want to work they are very short staff there isn't even a director my first day there the director announced she was quitting that should've been RED FLAG #1 work there for almost 2 months with no actual boss but somehow ended up getting fired w/o warning while I had family emergency they said it was cause of constant call ins but I have medical excuses. There's only 1 good teacher there and she's leaving too! They will over work you, ask you to come in even if you're in the hospital bleeding, if you don't they will use that against you and ignore you! They definitely have favorites and it shows! The pay of $10 per hour is not worth working in an unorganized, hostile environment . As far as sending your child here in my opinion you're better off somewhere else they are really expensive lol

I’m extremely disappointed on the service that was promised for my child but was not provided. After informing many staff members about my child being new to a child care setting they assured me they are trained to very experienced with children. I made it clear how their service would be extremely important to my family since my wife will be starting her first job after several years. They assured me they will have everything under control not to worry. As much as I had confidence and felt Grace Kids Academy would be the best fit for my 2 year old they were quick to call me in less than 2 hours to pick up my child. I had to leave work and cancel many of my customers work orders.Dropped of my child at 7:22 and called to pick up my son at 8:54As of now I have to jump through hoops to find my son another child care center that won’t give up on my child. My advice is if you have a feeling your child might need extra care don’t was your time thinking Grace kids Academy will be for your child. Sorry for the negative review but they made me look extremely unprofessional today.

I am disappointed at this facility. I had my both my children enrolled and on day one was called to pick up my child and was not able to bring him back. This facility didn’t even give my child a day or two of a chance to be in this facility. I explained to them my concerns prior to their enrollment and having my children experience a new daycare. I am more disappointed the fact that I was told I could leave one of my children in the facility and the other in another daycare.

I would not recommend Grace Kids Academy it’s low staffed so a lot of the kids are in the same room due to that my child wasn’t getting much care they also came home telling me she saw rats in the classroom

We have been at Grace for almost 3 years and our experience has been remarkable. Angie, the director is everything you could ever dream of as far as communication and leadership directing the team that handles your most precious possessions! Her transformation of the center and activities they offer is so apparent and you immediately get a sense that the staff not only loves your kids unconditionally, but they love what they do and have fun doing it. They are truly like family and there is no better feeling as a working mom, than to have your kids be so genuinely loved and cared for. The faith based curriculum and activities are on-par with some of the top centers we visited before making a final decision and we could not be more pleased with the social, educational and even motor development our children have received under their care. I could probably go on , but I want to at least make sure you note that even when we have had the common day care issues (potty training, biting, etc) the entire staff has been the text book example of professionalism, offering communication and going as far as taking Mom and Dads suggestions for remedies all while making sure the overall routine is not disrupted. That has meant the most to us! If you're considering it, I urge you to visit and pay attention to the interaction between the kids and the staff--you wont be disappointed in the care they receive and will end up feeling like the entire staff is an extension of your family.

My daughter has been here for a 1 1/2 yrs. We LOVE it. Yes, issues happen, but nothing that wouldn't happen at the most expensive places either. She is, and has, done so well here! When we move, I will go out of my way to keep her here.the teachers are so awesome and the directors are amazing.

We put our son in the newborn class. We love the sweet staff there and the facility is always clean and inviting. Our little man loves his teachers, even though he's so young, he recognizes them and smiles whenever he sees them. We are also familiar with the KW campus at Crescent Landing and we would recommend either location to potential families. :)
