They won't let you enter the store if you have a bag. Makes it impossible for me to shop here because I don't have a car to store my bag in, and I'm not going to leave it at the front where it will just get stolen

I was at the checkout and she asked me to take the hangers off , I only had three items , I’m 60 yrs old with health issues nerve damage , arthritis and she got upset, I never heard her ask anyone else to take the hangers off, I feel she was racist towards me as an elderly brown skin Hispanic mixed race woman , you would think that she would be nice , because she’s African American and she knows how it feels when people treat you differently, no she was racist towards me and nasty

I visit this location at least once or twice a month and I am always greeted by the friendliest associates there. I'm always pleased with my finds.

I go here about once a year and buy a full wardrobe for my 2 kids ( currently 1 & 4) for like $120. I have always been happy with this location.

I walked into the Goodwill on 20th St. here in Houston and was immediately greeted. I was looking for some items for a little family that lost everything in a fire. They were so helpful to show me where to go to get the sizes for the children and the store was very clean. The prices of course are very reasonable. Everything was organized really well And I noticed the girls that worked in the store were really good about helping customers as they came in with questions. I especially love that they were very polite and said yes ma’am. No ma’am, and I will definitely be going back.??

I’ve shopped at this goodwill for over 15 years. Lots has changed, but I have always enjoyed coming here. Prices had always been good across the board, nothing too hiked up. Until recently, I noticed shoes for over $30 and shirts for $50. It wasn’t a lot of pieces, but enough to notice. But, what really is upsetting is, I noticed that whatever the color of the week is, there never are any items with that color tag. At first, I thought I was just there too late in the week, so I went on a Sunday, first day of the new color discount. I went in at 10 am. The color was green. I noticed a lot of orange tags, which was the color the previous week and a lot of yellow tags, which were the color the week before that. But only found ONE green tag on some jeans I liked. I go to check out and I asked if my jeans received the discount and the cashier pointed out that the hang tag was green, but the plastic tag was orange and the hang tag read “orange” at the bottom. So, my green tag was actually an orange tag so I didn’t get a discount. So, I went through the jeans again, and I didn’t find any tags that were actually green. I went to the women’s shirts, the dresses, same thing…picked things at random, didn’t go through every single piece, but still very suspicious. Then I headed to the kids section and boom! I found some ACTUAL green tags and they were actually things I needed. There were two employees in the same aisle as me and one of them said “look at all the green tags she has” and asked if I was going to buy them and I said I was.. which was strange… as I walked away, I thought I heard her say that someone missed those. Either way, I get to the counter and by this time, there was a different cashier. She rang me up and when my total wasn’t what I expected, I said to her that my items were on sale and showed her the green plastic tags and she told me they GO BY THE HANG TAG! And to make matters worse, I got a dress that was marked $1.99 and she charged $4.99 and I pointed it out and she said it was marked wrong and dresses were actually 4.99. Which is funny because I’ve noticed they label things as dresses that aren’t dresses before and charge 4.99 for them, but I never pick up. This one said infant dress $1.99. Anyway, I walked out super annoyed. Something is going on here.

I used to work at a goodwill and they pull the color tags for that week so there's few items to get the discount.

Their prices have gone out of control. A usb speaker was tagged at 39.99 the kind you find for 5 anywhere else. And they get all items for free out of kindness.
