Just went in to look for kids' clothes. PRICES ARE INSANE! Goodwill should change their name! They are getting very greedy for free items! A simple plain dress for a girl is now over $5 with tax. Might as well get it new. And shoes are outrageous! $10 & up for falling apart stained up shoes is just crazy. It's not the workers' fault. It's greedy corporate that recently upped all the prices and got rid of the 0.79 & 0.99 cent items. The minimum is now $1.99. It's crazy when they price Dollar Tree items more than brand new a DT. I will never donate or shop here again.. ?

I dealt with a very rude and weirdly non-verbal employee when donating some items at 7:30 PM on December 10, 2023. When I was done unloading my vehicle, the employee brandished an air horn pointed directly at my face roughly 5 feet away, without a verbal warning beforehand. I frankly have no clue why. I won’t be donating items here in the future.

Very nice employees that work hard and are always so nice. But after they re-did the store, clothing prices not only went up but pricing each item individually makes it super hard to shop. No more cruising quickly through the racks. Now you have to look at price tags...there can be a $5.99 shirt next to a $39.99 one. It was so much easier when things were one price and the fancy stuff was in the boutique. The pricing is weird. I can literally buy some of the brands they think of as fancy at Macy's cheaper. But I just pass those by now...with a shake of my head. You can find some great deals on shoes still but also, unless they hire an authenticator for the shoes "behind the glass", they shouldn't price them as authentic. Made the mistake of paying up for what I thought was a super fancy designer brand only to find out they were worthless fakes. Saw an identical pair there the next week. Same with purses. Fakes are everywhere and if you can't tell the difference, err on the side of caution and assume they are fakes.

I love shopping thrift stores have for years…. But greed has taken ahold of goodwill… $12 for a shirt from old navy (and not new ) this is absolutely absurd… completely understand payrolls have to be met, rent etc,,, but they are pricing themselves out of the thrifting market. The store was crammed with items could not even move clothes on the racks… but greed strikes again. Those racks will stay full because why would anyone buy a used item for let’s say 19.00 when I could buy it new for 23.00?

While this is still the best goodwill in the area, it is still awful. No good stuff because they are putting that online, prices on used items above new retail prices, and half the stuff is broken

I'm disappointed in this location. There are 5-6 racks of "boutique" items. Usually it's 1-2 racks at any other goodwill. They try to oversell these used clothes at a high price by putting them on those boutique racks. Might as well make it a Walmart for those prices. Get outta my face.

Same prices as Ross, Marshall's and tj max, walmart too. So might as well just go buy new items rather than these overpriced used items. Old used stained clothes tagged for over $5. I definitely will not be returning to this location.

Unfortunately this place has gone way downhill the past year. There seem to be much fewer quality items and the prices are outrageous. $8.99 for a coffee pot part of the coffee machine without the actual machine? $7.99 for scratched up Teflon pan? $11.99 for Target and Walmart branded shirts? Who is pricing this stuff that they frankly got for free?? It’s a shame because I would always come out with a good find and now it’s become impossible.

I frequently visit this location on my lunch break and I may say the prices are ridiculous! The sudden change in price is crazy. Shirts are on sale like if I was buying them brand new. I don't see this system in other Goodwill locations. I am not sure who is over pricing at this location now but man you guys are asking for a arm and a leg. I will continue to support the Goodwill mission at another location this one is not the one anymore. It really sucks...

This location has passed its prime, and that's putting it nicely. Before covid, this location used to be stuffed to the rafters with nice clothing. Now they barely have anything nice to wear at all. There use to be an endless assortment of beautiful dresses all the way down the right side of the store. Not anymore. The cash registers are there now. The FEW tattered dresses they have left are on a pitiful little rack near the entrance. Maybe 30 in all. And no more skirts. Today (6/17/23) I Iiterally found THREE women's skirts in the whole store. SAD.It's not their fault. People spent the past three yeard sitting at home on their rear-ends in their PJ's. Now, they refuse to go back to the office more than two or three days a week. Therefore, nobody is switching out their wardrobes anymore. Perhaps some other Goodwill locations (where people actually still care about looking nice) might have a decent inventory. As for Clear Lake, this store seems to be a wasteland. It's sad. I used to get so many nice things here.RIP Goodwill Bay Area Blvd.

I dropped off some furniture today at the drive thru - 2 chairs, a table and a dresser. The worker guy had an attitude from the start - no hello, no response to my greeting, no offer to help with what I had in my truck. I unloaded the table and chairs by myself but when it came to the dresser I asked if he could give me a hand. It was more bulky than heavy but awkward for one person to pick up. No point in risking dropping it. Worker guy walks up, picks it up by himself, carries it the 10 feet it needed to go and then says “You weak.” I responded with “sure, whatever you say” and then he says “you got outlifted by a 63 yr old man!” I guess it was a competition. I’ll be making my donations to other organizations in the future. Hopefully ones that don’t insult me when I donate.

Love the new layout of the store! I will say this though, some of the prices of the items are RIDICULOUS! Shirts costing over $5 is too much, especially for a second hand store, hell I could just go down to Walmart or Ross and get something new! I do appreciate that they have decent looking shoes and don't just sell any ol thing! My usual thing I aim for are the kids shirts since it's the cheapest, with the exception of household items. Definitely more cheaper and reasonable stores around but it's goodwill and I'm giving back?♀️? They also now have shelfs at the front with items like you would see at a grocery store you can browse while you wait in line(that's how they get you lol)?♀️??♀️
