While it may seem counterintuitive to promote obesity, it's important to understand that marketing is driven by the profit motive rather than a concern for health. Some companies may engage in unethical tactics to advertise products that contribute to poor health, including those that can contribute to obesity. Their goal is to appeal to consumer desires for convenient, tasty, and inexpensive products, regardless of the potential health risks. It is crucial, however, for individuals to be critical consumers and make informed choices when it comes to their health and well-being. Examples from the past like tobacco, alcohol and now this one allowing the acceptance of obesity.
