I paid a $350 security deposit that was supposed to be refundable. It has been over 2 month, and they still have not refunded it.

My experience at Galleria Oaks has been incredible. The people are eclectic, authentic and wonderful; the management staff is helpful, kind and approachable; and the maintenance team is knowledgeable, meticulous, and efficient. People rarely leave and now I understand why.

Galleria is absolutely the best place to call home! Management really resolves complaints and issues quickly! Maintenance cares for the property like no other place I’ve ever seen! It is a great place to live and for your pets! The pool and hot tub are maintained and wonderful. We love the barbecue grill area as well! Such a great community to come home to!

I fell in love with the plants this apartments had before the freeze a few years ago. Really the first complex I looked at and decided to be my first apartment after so many beautiful scenery. Now is not the same, sadly.
Also there was a security guard before and now there is no one around that gives that secure environment. There has not been much worry but missed the feeling that at night we had protection.
Water sometimes is off or with a smelly smell but very rare so no bother since after running it goes away.
My neighbor is a weed smoker and sadly I have brought the attention to him and management but nothing is being resolved. I just get told that they don’t have control what people do in their home! Been with a smelly apartment for years now.
The good things about this place is the maintenance crew they are quick and efficient! I like the pool also and jacuzzi!
By the way can’t have to many ppl in the pool so no pool parties!

Yes they’re the cheapest in the galleria. Yes, they’re absolutely outdated. I asked for them to replace cracked tiles for my animals and they said “it was fine” . They tow people at their convenience. Pool is closed at their convenience as well. Would not move here unless you want to be surrounded by “Karen’s” and don’t mind them making “emergency” entry of your place because they are poorly managed.

Lived here back in 2021-2022 and I never missed an apartment until now. While rooms are limited selection, with a slightly outdated design, there is a lot of character and the leasing office truly cared. It was also reasonably priced and had some terrific landscaping. Would recommend.

I went to go visit my brother’s apartment and I was gone for no less than 5 minutes and they towed my car.

I’ve been trying to get this issue resolved since I’ve moved in. I’ve spoken to everyone in the office about this, and honestly only Allie was able to slightly assist me just because Marisol didn’t know what was going on. So I do appreciate her for that.My dryer hasn’t been working properly since I’ve moved in, March 2023.I’ve put in over 6 maintenance orders about this same dryer. I haven’t been able to actually wash & dry my clothes since August! Why am I paying for a convenience if it’s not working properly?I then go into the office to follow-up with Nicole on yesterday, 10/25, She was very rude and nonchalant as soon as walked in. If looks could kill, I would be laying in the office still. Her demeanor was almost like I was bothering her with my concerns. My frustration comes from workers like her who don’t care about the concerns/issues that I consistently bring to their attention.I even asked for a wash card, do you think I was given one? I have to put the dryer on minimum 3 dry cycles to even get dry clothes. Does that sound like it’s working properly? Why am I “expected” to stay and pay for a service that I can’t even use? I just want this to be resolved, but I do not want to speak to Nicole. Her attitude is nasty and tasteless, and I will not tolerate that. As if she did me a favor. I pay well over $1200 to stay here when it’s already not worth it. Again, I hope to speak to someone with a more empathetic attitude and who can actually assist me.

Conversation with Assistant Manager Allie Gusman on 5/24/23, Wednesday afternoon, I let her know that the dishwasher was not repaired by maintenance when they came out for the request. I also provided her with feedback about my email to her (where previous Property Manager Mary followed up with me by phone): I told her that if she had simply said she appreciated my feedback and would relay it to maintenance then that would have been appreciated.Allie gave me a blank stare and I asked her if she understood what I was saying; she replied sternly, “No.” Allie also went on to tell me, “We do not need to use plumber’s putty we have gaskets” and her tone was mean this time. She then proceeded to tell me she has been helpful and when my apartment was burglarized she looked at an hour of [camera] footage when she did not have to. Assistant Manager Allie also stated “we felt that you’re not happy here” intimating why I was served paperwork which disclosed that management would not allow me to sign another lease or roll into month-to-month. I thanked her for her help and left the office. While first engaging with Allie, it appeared that she emailed me pictures of my prospective unit which appeared upon reflection that it was not the unit I was to rent. I also asked Allie if there were any bike racks on property during December 2022 (I believe). She replied, “We are working with our regional manager to have a bike rack installed in the parking garage.” No bike rack was installed during my tenancy. A month or so later, if memory serves me correctly I asked Allie about the laundry room and if they have any large capacity front load washers she replied in what appeared to be a gaslighting attempt explaining that they are renegotiating their contract with their laundry room vendor.Be very wary of this apartment community. They caused me repeated problems and I could never recommend renting here under any circumstances. They are absolutely terrible to deal with. Also, upon moving out of this apartment community it appears that either a resident or someone from inside the community stole my wicker clothing hamper with all my sheets and pillow cases inside. I had been using it to hold the electronic gate open while I made trips to the moving van and I had left it inside the locked gate on one of my trips to the new apartment.

Roaches. Rude passive aggressive management. Nosy neighbors. If that’s your thing, have at it.

To me, a low profile & true home sweet home type of residence. In addition, location location location.

It’s been one year that I have been staying here and everything was prefect but since last 2 week iam continuously disturbed by the upstairs neighbor and couldn’t sleep at night so, i talk about it to the management team ( Allie) she was kind and helpful but today (9/20/2023) the new manager (African American lady) was not helpful at all instead of resolving my issue she treat me bad , she says if you are disturbed by stomping noise living on the ground floor why don’t you live in upstair floor and move to the another apartment, I was question like as if iam making a fake claim or complaint like ( I was asked by that manager do you hear the noise all time during the day & night that upstairs neighbor make Manager was curious they do not take break )iam the one being disturbed but this new manager was so rude and doesn’t care if one tenant is disturbed from upstairs neighbor. I was hoping the new manager will be helpful and will work to resolve the issue but instead she make me feel like I was the one doing wrong by bringing this matter to her . Today she disrespects me that I don’t wanna live here anymore though I like the apartment ,Because of her behavior towards me . She was not helpful at all .

This is my first month in Galleria Oaks and I'm pleasantly surprised by the management and maintenance staff. The manager Mary and assistant manager Alie take personal care of the tenants. They are very professional, responsive and sincere in their work. They always seem to help tenants. The community has strict control on all the gates and very strict parking policy for the safety of the compound. They park a vehicle with flashing lights near the garage gate during nights and also have a security person on golf cart at night. I'm not sure if he is patrolling every night (edited Dec 20, 2022: both the vehicle and security person are not seen now, probably it was a temporary measure in the past). The apartments are old but well maintained and clean. The ambiance of the community is good with friendly people. Overall a satisfying experience so far.
Edited Dec 20, 2022: I still hold my opinion about the professionism and helpfulness of the office staff, as well as the promptness and friendliness of the maintenance staff.
Edited on June 13, 2023: Surprisingly one evening (for the first time of my stay so far), four big size cockroaches appeared, coming from the bathroom or sink drains I think. This looked like a daring gang trying to explore a new territory. I have to terminate them, and also raise a work order. They scheduled a pest control appointment and I also sprayed the pest control spray. No more repeat appearance so far since about two months. I won't generalize this as a common problem.
I have extended my stay by another 10 months, still like the place.
