Foodarama Market is a small, older store located conveniently in the neighborhood, making it the closest grocery option for many residents. The store is fairly clean and easy to navigate, with some reasonable prices. It offers an extensive selection of Hispanic foods and spices, which is appreciated by shoppers. Customers enjoy seeing familiar faces among the staff, some of whom have been working there for years and feel like family. However, the store's selection can be limited, and it lacks up-to-date technology, which may be a drawback for longer shopping lists. Prices are sometimes higher than other stores in the area, and some products that regular buyers used to find are no longer available. Despite these issues, the store provides a good shopping experience, especially for quick grocery runs. Notably, the fresh pre-cut cantaloupe is highly praised, considered the best in Houston, adding to the store’s appeal for fresh produce lovers.
He almost always avoided this place because of the price and the not-so-fresh vegetables and the smell of mice. Today I went for rice from the Mama Licha brand but it had worms. The good thing was that I checked very carefully beforehand.

Buyers have definitely changed. Some of the products I'm use to getting here are no longer available and the prices are higher than some stores in the area but overall still like the shopping experience here. Always great to see some familiar faces as some of the employees have been here for years and feel like family.
